This policy will begin being enforced on Thursday January 8th 2009.

Forums Penalty Breakdown:

All Violations have been assigned a point value. Each violation will cause the user to have those points marked to their name. Suspensions and Bans will be enforced when certain point totals are reached.

12 Points: 24 Hours
24 Points: 72 Hours
32 Points: 7 Days
36 Points: 1 Month
48 Points: Permanent

4 Point Violations:

Swearing or Masked Swearing
Banner Violations - Size violations, questionable content or content that violates the ToS
Indirect Provoking of others - posting in a way to attempt to start a fight or ruffle feathers
Religious material or topics
Political material or topics


12 Point Violations:

Personal Flaming, Arguing or Attacking of another player directly
False Advertising - Attempts to sell items that are in anyway falsely represented (pictures, layouts not belonging to the seller but being claimed as their own as an example)
Posting of My.Space, Face.Book, T.witter or other related sites.
Theft - Stealing peoples artwork, banners, layouts and using them as your own without permission.
Impersonating a Game Op - this is also grounds for in-game account suspension
Alcohol References
Drug References
Discrimination against others for racial/religious/sexual preference
Other posts, depending on severity may result in an auto ban also. These posts will be discussed between ops to determine severity and length of ban. (examples: Racist posts not directed exactly at the game community)

Posting material of an adult nature will result in an auto permanent ban.


This list will be edited and updated as needed. All Ops reserve the right to adjust the penalty given depending on the severity of the offense.
Also, players will be notified via Forum PM when they receive points or a penalty so they will know how many points they've accumulated. Points will also have a reset feature, if a player gets points and goes 1 year without further points, then they will be reset to 0 for that player.

Permanent Bans will be reviewed after one year on a case by case basis as to whether the ban will be removed or not. Added: This pertains to bans received from this new system and does not pertain to previous bans and infractions.

Indirect Provoking or Harassing of others - making comments in attempt to poke at or stir other players up
Ads not being spaced 15 minutes apart
Ads that take up more than one post
Excessive nick changes
Excessive and annoying scripts
Rudeness
Name calling
Excessive punctuation - using more than 3 of any character Examples: !!! is ok, !!!!!!!!!! will get you a warning/kick/ban
Rude or Disruptive comments
Religious material or topics
Political material or topics
Asking for or Giving out personal information - this includes but is not limited to Name, Age, location, email address, messenger info, phone number...



12 Point Violations:

Any other Ban from the Room Bot - The bot auto bans on the 3rd kick for Caps, Colours, Flooding, Spamming....
Posting of other Games
Posting other Chat Rooms, Discussing other chat rooms, inviting players to other chat rooms (we take player complaint seriously and do report this to Chat Network admins)
Tricking or Provoking others into getting banned - using any methods to trick players into leaving chat or to provoke and pick at them so they end up doing something to warrant a ban.
Swearing
Masked Cursing
Discrimination against others for racial/religious/sexual preference

Added: Also note, that violations made while an op is not active during the the infraction, will still have points placed accordingly. Most of us do log chat while we sleep and we do review the logs daily.
