Why Kite? You like reptilians. Maybe you know about them? Green Iguanas.. Well.. Peeps know I want one now.. Not my family.. no.. I have to ease them into liking them.. So far..? I have to explain, without telling them the animal, or making them suspicious about me wanting one.. I got my mom to know about the food. We were talking about snakes.. How my brother wanted one.. How they would actually be best for him if he actually took care of animals(I did my research! I'm sorry if any assumptions I ever made about them insulted you Kite, or any other snake lovers/owners), and how they eat mice and things, which is a major drawback from them.. for us at least. But.. I told mom about "I was reading about reptiles, and I found one that actually doesn't eat mice or meat!" Her response? "Different than any reptilian I know of!" So far so good. Now caging, right? Heating, electronically things.. and carpentry. Alot for someone my age. Right? My dad is an engineer though. Used to build horse stables. Asked him about things.. He was a little suspicious, but not enough to really care. So far, so good.

I hope you get an iguana, they are great. I had one for a few months, but had to get rid of him, just too big, and dangerous with my dogs

I really think that, because I didn't even think of looking at pictures. Complete research to the point.. I was thinking roughly 7-8 ft wide, like this.. |

| 3 feet or so long like this: _ | _ and 6 feet tall. Does that sound adequate?

I hope you get one Dreamy ^^ I think Iggies are real cool. But the only experience I've had with one is chasing one down the road to retrieve it for neighbors (she got loose and chased cars). I got whacked with a tail -_- lmao. She didn't wanna go back in the cage XP Its not the best way to do things, but how I got Umbreon...well I just came home with her and Mom had no say in it. XP Dad was saying the whole time "Your mother is gonna kill you." and I kept saying "Then why didn't you stop me? XD" Mom didn't kill me though, she likes her, for now. She says she won't when she gets big. But that's what she said about Moeru, and she likes him still XP He's only half grown but still giant compared to what he was.

XP The thing is, the guineas and rabbits need veggies and such... And I'm more of a vegetarian than an inbetweenie anyway. So we spend lots of time in there. Hehe. They do get big. Dinos. ^^ Shame I'm not ready now. There are babies for adoption in my area.

I had an iguana once. My dad has him now. We had him in an aquarium when he was babyish, because he could fit in there. I don't remember what food we gave him, but we gave him some green leafy stuff, Kale, I believe is what it's called. He loved that stuff. He did have a problem with, not biting, but whipping his tail at our hands if we scared him. So, we clenched our hands into a fist, and slowly eased it into his cage. That got him used to our hand being in there, and when we did get him out, he was jumpy at first. ^.^ I dunno if all iguana's act like that, but Godzilla did XD

He wasn't tame then. When you do get him out, hold him against your chest. And if they struggle, put pressure on them. Not alot, but enough to have a grip. Once they calm down, loosen. It's like a dog. If you let them get their way, they'll continue and take advantage of you. =-] I know you don't have him, but, figured I'd tell yeh how I'd do it. The only other way is to handle them often. And if they squirm, let them go. But that doesn't teach them anything. You wouldn't hurt them. They're strong little buggers. If that would hurt them(say you were handling them properly) they wouldn't last in their habitat where they climb trees, and many will fall at times. So.

There's my lesson for da day! XP
