My dog and the pool

My lab has an unhealthy obsession with our underground pool. He is getting in every day and it's January!!! I'm starting to worry. <br>They're inside dogs but they go potty outside in our fenced in back yard. He only gets in now for us to dry him off before he comes back in. grr. It's annoying.

    I watched a Cesar Milan episode just like this. A golden Lab (owned by an older couple) would not stay out of the pool. Never. He was always in it and would jump on people while they were in the pool and all.<br><br>You have to be the leader and be assertive. Make sure you're being the 'pack leader' and not letting him/her get away with anything. Because, yes, in January that can't be good for him going for a swim... :|<br><br>Have you ever watched Cesar Milan episodes? I copy what he does and it works greatly on my bratty pets, lol.

    We have two labs, and they're not allowd in in our pool. Just make sure he doesn't go in the pool, and he know's your the boss.

    My dog is well-behaved. My <span style="font-style:italic">dog</span> is well-behaved. I never said dog<span style="font-style:italic">s</span> xD<br><br>What I'm saying is one of my dogs is a total submissive teddy bear that only listens to me & my family.<br><br>The other is a total wreck since she's been my dog since she was five. You don't know much about dog training when you're five, let me tell you. xD<br><br>With a small cupped hand (like a pinch-ish, or in a dog case, a nip), I tap her and say "Shhht". She's doing greatly in improvements!<br><br>Try it with your Lab when you're outside!
