This is more of a 'I have two friggin exams today and I need to go to school to complete the damned things!' vent, not a 'Its only a millimeter of snow on the ground and they cancelled school' vent.

Its true. There is less than a millimeter of snow on the ground, and from what I can see now, there is no more ice on the road. Mi padre called, said that there is no ice on the interstate, which he takes to work. He also called his friend Tom, who lives in Ohio, who said there was a foot and a half of snow on the ground and is getting his son ready for school.

I have two exams today that count for most of my grade. History and Math.
I have two exams tomorrow. English and Chem.
I already took most of mine, which totalled up to 300 questions. (History: 30, Math: 50, Science, 75, Spanish 1: 100, English: 45)

Who knows how many these midterms will have?!
-stressed-

(Though I'm very glad they cancelled school so I can study more ^_^)
[/random vent]

North Carolina doesn't get snow very much -at all- and when it does, they don't want people to -have- to travel because we don't do it enough and they don't salt the roads/sidewalks down here.

Not to mention you'll have make up days for your exams, so don't sweat it.

No, he said he wouldn't give Saturday school for behavioral issues. The Saturday school last snowfall was part of the school systems doing.

  • Haha Ohio *giggles*

Yes we have a ton of snow! They didn't have the sidewalks plowed and I had to walk in the street from my car. It was almost up to my knee. We sometimes get a huge butt load and we still don't get off school. Its their goal to keep us in there for as long as they can. xD We only had 1 snowday this year so far and I am a little surprised. We get lake effect snow from one of the great lakes. *shrugs*

It would be nice to get off school when there's only like a cm. Its nice out then!

Oh and we didnt have midterms today, we have them wed-fri. I wish I had the extra study time :D Luckay

  • LUCKY! I live in Ga. and we never ever ever ever get snow!! I would gladly take a Saturday School day for a day of snow. Evern a millimeter.

So get yourself together and be happy. Or, if you don't like the snow, come to Ga. and you won't ever have to have any.

It's just life. You'll get over it.
  • I remember when I was 4 we had a dusting on Christmas. Yes, it got down to 8 degrees one night, and that's it. I want a neggie! xD I was not eggadurating tho. It is usually 50 degrees in winter, but it's colder this year because of "Global Warming"
