Disapperaring Kitties!

Does anyone here have cats that hide in the oddest places? I do. I have two cats, Megan, and Mittens. (Sorry, no pictures!) They are both mixes but I think Meg has some Tabby in her? Anyways..... The two oddest places they've ever hid: Mittens-Mattress-I mean actually inside a mattress. We were moving and putting my bed in and one of the mattresses had a small hole in the side. Mittens has a hard time adjusting to new places and she was terrified. All the sudden when we picked up the mattress we heard this mewing. And there she was, inside the mattress. It was hard to get her out, but we did, and no worries, she was perfectly fine.

Megan- Floor Vent. Yes, inside the vent in the floor. (It was not on while she was inside, promise) My mom was cleaning the vent so she took the top off. She walked away or something and when she came back she put the top back on, not noticing the cat inside. In a few minutes, she heard Meg mewing. She looked around but couldn't find her. Finally, she looked inside the vent and there she was, inside the vent. She re-opended it and Meg hopped out.

Anyone else's kitties have crazy hiding places? Please share!

xD We have two cats, a black one and a tortie. Gabby, the tortie, hides in dresser drawers and cubby spaces. Or anywhere that there's something to lay on. She won't lay on the floor unless it's got something on it. She especially loves newspaper. xD Ninja, the black one, is, well, ninja. We brought her home, and she disappeared for four hours. We looked EVERYwhere. Under beds, in dressers, in closets, in the pantry... Then, we gave up, and she came crawling out of my closet. >_> We were like "Wtf?"

We brought home little, baby kitten Lizzie (Gray tabby mix) and lost her for about four hours, also. xD We looked everywhere and eventually gave up, thinking that perhaps she got outside and we'd never see her again ;-; Buuut, Dad goes to sit on the chair he -never- ever sits on in the living room and "MEW!" Out pops Lizzie after being stuck inside the chair. o.o xD She was unharmed, but quite glad to be out! :]

We were moving to a new house once and we put the cats in the bathroom. When we came back to get them one had found a small hole in the wall and got stuck inside the wall. We also had one cat that liked to hide inside a cupboard and would hiss every time you opened it. We called it the "Hissing Cupboard" xD

my cat hides in boxes that are in the hallway closet, he likes to eat the wrapping paper in the closet too. XD well, the other day my mom called me giving me "simba updates" -he's a orange tabby mix- and she told me she went to get her shirt and he started swating at her hand and she freaked. :P when my dog jewels was a puppy we had put up gates plus boxes, -because she would push the gate over- well, one day she knocked everything over, chewed stuff up, drug out the garbage, and went missing for hours. we called her name looked through out the house, well the last place we look -under the couch- she was there, she didn't want to come out because she knew she would be in trouble for destroying the house. XD

My uncle lives with my aunt in an RV and they have two cats. One time, they were packed up and ready to leave(leave where they were staying with the RV, I mean.) and they couldn't find the younger one, Bailey Rae. They looked everywhere. Under the bed, in the cupboards, outside. under the RV, and they couldn't find her. Eventually, they heard crying and theny had to dismantle the dashboard(yes, the dashboard) to get her out. She figured it'd be fun to hide in there.

When my cat had kittens she hid them under the tub, by going under the cabinet and through the wall. There was no way to get them out and it was winter so we put a heater so it would blow into the opening so they wouldn't freeze to death(she was a horrible mom and wouldn't stay with them for long). Every time someone took a shower you could hear them meowing. One day they just kinda stopped meowing, and we thought they had all died... but a few days later she brought them out, and they were all fine. We ended up keeping all 5 kittens.

once our cali. cutie got stuck between the screendoor and the actual door to our carport how she got there we still have no idea but we couldnt find her until we opened the door to look outside. then once our evil gray kitteh darla got stuck in the fridg! no joke i think when i opened it she climbed inside when i was pouring a drink lol... sometimes they hide in my hamper or shoes well they try lol...
