Ludie's Pets (image heavy!)

Some of you know my pets already or have heard of them.
But some of you are either new or back on the game from a break you took...
and you haven't heard of them!
And, seriously, I want to hear about everyone's pets.
Hopefully you do, too, because you're going to hear about mine! xD
(I will resize all large photos later) - DONE

I have two dogs, two cats, one rabbit, and four fan-tailed goldfishies! :D

Dogs first, right? This is a virtual PUPS game. xDD

<img src="http://i26.tinypic.com/2uy52rt.jpg"; alt="http://i26.tinypic.com/2uy52rt.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
Molly; female
Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pit Bull cross.
Molly is my second dog ever. The first was a purebred Siberian Husky whom we had to give away (no photos) when I was very little. Molly has just turned nine years old as of May (I think xD). She really has no special story as to how we got her... my grandpa just went and bought her off some of his friends for me when she was a puppy and I was only around four. (My parents didn't want another dog after Jesse, the husky... and I never asked for one. He just bought her for me one day.) Molly is dog-aggressive (meaning she doesn't get along with dogs she first meets, she has to be properly introduced - which takes much time).

<img src="http://i28.tinypic.com/16aae80.png"; alt="http://i28.tinypic.com/16aae80.png"; class="bb-image" />
Max; male
Shetland Sheepdog/Australian Kelpie mix.
Max is my third dog ever. He's turning three in August this year... (no, he's not only worth $12.96 like the photo shows. xDD Lmfao. I begged my dad for another dog when I was ten. He said no at first, but I showed responsibility by cleaning the house and doing chores and such. (I didn't look after Molly, she was and still is my Grandpa's responsibility). Max is almost dog-friendly (he growls at all dogs until he's met them, which is a problem). Once he meets a dog, he's fine with it. He would never bite or attack another dog. A dog once tried to attack him, and he just stood there. o.O Max catches on very quick to learning new commands and tricks. If my small town wasn't so... well, small and cheap, I'd probably try to show him in something like agility.

Cats are next! :P

<img src="http://i29.tinypic.com/2el5htl.png"; alt="http://i29.tinypic.com/2el5htl.png"; class="bb-image" />
Lily; female
Siamese cross.
Lily is a stinker. I can hate her one moment for chewing my new belt and love her the next for purring in my face. The most damage this cat has done to my stuff with her TEETH is: chew the end of my new belt (eww, cat slobber Dx), destroy a good photo of me (I don't have another copy!), shred the end of my bed, and get her cat hair all over every single one of my pillow cases. Man, do I ever hate cats. But, Lily is one exception. She's such a fatty now, too. xDD She's mostly my cat. We got her when my last cat went outside and was never seen again ;_;. She's pretty much my old cats reincarnation - with a few evil tweaks. D: She's going to be three soon, I assume.

<img src="http://i26.tinypic.com/muc179.png"; alt="http://i26.tinypic.com/muc179.png"; class="bb-image" />
Lizzie; female
Gray tabby mix.
Lizzie is a freak-a-zoid. She's afraid of everything. She's turned... four or five already and she's JUST starting to come out of her shell a little bit... She'll now sit beside me without running away, she's coming out during the day from under my parents' bed, she's playing with the rabbits, and she's just being a more social cat now. My best friend (who is ALWAYS over) just got to pet her the other day - which is pure miracle. She's always been scared of people and random things because when she was a kitten, her previous owners had a three-year-old they never kept an eye on with her. So he tortured and almost killed her by holding her by the throat and squeezing ;_;. Thank goodness they didn't keep her! She'd probably not be alive if they had.

Rabbits, anyone?

<img src="http://i28.tinypic.com/2u8bj15.jpg"; alt="http://i28.tinypic.com/2u8bj15.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
Remi; male
Netherland Dwarf cross.
Remi is my little sweetheart. He can be a total jerkoff when it comes to being put back in his cage, but otherwise, he's a big, spoiled baby. xDD He used to come when you called, but now he prefers to play a game that verifies that "come" means "run away until the catch you". D: It's exhausting, really. He likes to hide under my parent's bed with the cats sometimes, but also likes to pester my sister's rabbit, Milo (request photos and information on him and I'll post some!). Remi's either already turned one or is turning one in August. xDD Lmfao, I am completely unsure. I got him from Petland, so I think he was 6 months when I got him (got him October, 08), so... you do the math! xD. Anyway, this little bugger is soft bundle of fun, for sure! (:

And, since Shameh wanted hear about him, here's little sis' bunny (:

<img src="http://i27.tinypic.com/2i0c6rq.jpg"; alt="http://i27.tinypic.com/2i0c6rq.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
Milo; male
Unknown mix - guesses? ;P
Milo is a spunky little retard. xD He hasn't got a clue what to do with himself a lot of the time, so he follows people around lots. Lmfao. He's always telling us that he loves us by snuggling. ;P He's got short, soft fur - whereas his bunny brother, Remi, has longer hair. I, myself, don't have much to say about him since he's my sister's. But he's a hyper little boy and loves to leap. He was a birthday present for my little sister's birthday. He gets along with Max and plays lots. Oh, and one last thing - he's got endless energy. xDD

LAST - but not least - FISHES!

Ugh, these guys are hard to take pictures of! xDD
I do want you to know that I have no clue how to tell the genders of fantailed goldish D: So, I just name them their names and decide whether it sounds feminine or masculine xDD

<img src="http://i30.tinypic.com/2zzkhoi.png"; alt="http://i30.tinypic.com/2zzkhoi.png"; class="bb-image" />

(first fish on the right)
Tuna; female
Fantailed Goldfish - Red & White
Tuna was meant to be named after some kind of music theme. My mom tried suggesting "Tune" but ended up saying "Tuna". Therefore, Tune became Tuna. Which is a coincidence since she's a fish. xDD Lmfao. I still love that story.

(middle red/orange fish)
Buddy; male
Fantailed Goldfish - Red w/ Black Speckles/Spots
Buddy was my first Fantailed goldfish. (: He's my favorite because of that (shh, don't tell the other 'ishies xDD). I don't know why I named him Buddy, I just happened to. *shrugs* Not much to say about him.

(middle white fish)
Spunky; male
Fantailed Goldfish - White w/ Black Speckles/Spots
Spunky used to be one of the most jumpy fish ever. xDD He darted around the tank constantly. Which is a wonder because when we got him, we were all convinced he was going to die. He used to be very slow and didn't do much. A couple days later, his spunk formed. Thus, his name, Spunky. (:

(VERY last, left orange/red fish)
Unnamed; male (that's what I've decided xD)
Fantailed Goldfish - White & Red w/ Black Speckles/Spots
Unnamed has to be the most unique-looking of the four, with all his different colors and speckles. I don't know what to name him. He's been unnamed for a long time now. I think I did name him, didn't like it, and decided he needed a new one a while ago and never got to it. xD Wanna help find him a name? Post some suggestions! (:

Oh! And we can't forget grandma's lovely bird! (Who used to be mine).

<img src="http://i27.tinypic.com/8zo9ip.png"; alt="http://i27.tinypic.com/8zo9ip.png"; class="bb-image" />
Jake; male (that we were told, starting to doubt it though Dx)
Fiery Shouldered Conure
Jake is mean. Mean, mean, mean. He can be sweet (licking your face or caressing your cheek with his beak), but otherwise he's a jerk. D: He hurts when he bites, too. Technically, he can fly, but he gets his wings clipped every now and then so he can't get too far without having to land. xD We're babysitting him while Grandma goes on vacation this summer. (: He's ever so noisy, though. When he was mine, he was a sweet bird. Then he started getting a big temper. I still played with him, though, even though he bit me. xP Soon (since I was only nine or ten when I got him), he was too hard for me to look after, and my parents were to busy to help. Grandma's budgie had died a few years back, so she said she'd try and take him. Now she loves him and we still get to see him often! (:

IF YOU READ ALLLLLLL THAT... OMFG YOU DESERVE A COOKIE AND A READING AWARD! xDD

Thanks for all who read,
Ludie

  • I didn't know you had a bird! Well.. Sorta? XD

Lily and Molly are so gorgeous. o.o
I have a Lily too. =P She's also a stinker. A loud one. Way too verbal. Is your Lily like that? How'd you get her?
    2mhssbd.png
  • Lily does like to meow. xD Lol. ;) Only when she doesn't get her way, though.
My old cat ran away, so my mom went and got her for free from someone who's cat had had kittens.
(I'm assuming an accidental pregnancy... if not, they randomly bred mixed cats :roll:)
Otherwise, she has no real adoption or stray story.

OH! And enough about Lily, let me reply to these comments. xDD
I've never really mentioned my old bird, Jake, on here.
I got him when I had first joined, I assume.
I guess I didn't really remember to mention him on here since he wasn't really mine anymore...?
And thank you. Lily's always getting those comments. xD
Molly often gets 'cute', but never beautiful =P Lol. Thank you <3
She has big, brown eyes, not that the photo really shows. She looks all squinty, haha.
  • Bella's eyes are dark too. Almost black like. Someone actually asked if she was aggressive and I said "no, why?", and then they said "Black eyes, black heart". o.O

I love birds, they're amazing things. I'd love to get a bigger bird someday. I have a parakeet, might get another soon. I should get new pictures of all my pets. I've neglected them in that department. XD
    2mhssbd.png
  • o.o Your Tuna looks exactly like my Lily... small world with names XD
  • @Dreamy; Black eyes, black heart? o.O What are people thinking these days? Lmfao. You should update us all with pictures, yes! I'd love to see them all. (: Birds are definitely great pets. Parrots are absolutely amazing. Jake was the closest thing to a Parrot I was allowed to buy. xD And he's just a tiny Conure... but he was still expensive. For his cage and all, I got him for around $400.

@Clozobozo; (too many O's in your name D: xDD) Lily is definitely a common name for pets. xDD And I'm sure there are plenty of goldfish who look exactly like Lily and Tuna, lmfao. They all look quite similar most of the time - in my point of view. But, maybe I just have bad eyes. :P
  • Bella gets all the weird comments. From "odd looking" to "downright ugly" to "My dog is around 10 years younger than her, but they look a lot alike!" o.o Any of your pets get that?
See, I'd love an African Grey, all time favorite parrot, but I think it'd be smarter to start off with a parrot.. not as intelligent. Since I've only had parakeets and cockatiels which are only around the intelligence of a 2-3 year old.
I found this one website with some hand raised parrots for 100-200 dollars. They were pretty nice birds, actually. If by some miracle we had the room, I'd totally get something exotic after research. I think Ray's cage was 40-100? My parents bought it and I bought the birds. xD

No, my dogs never get that. xD Max has always gotten, ":O What kind of dog is he? He's got nice patterns. Is he a German Shepherd?" And Molly's always gotten, "(: She's pretty nice-looking. Is she smart?" Of course, I always have to answer the "is she smart" with a sad, "Not exactly. She's smart, but too stubborn to show it." xD

I'd love to have an African Grey! They're pretty <3 And so smart. ;D
Cockatiels are awesome. ;P
