Moving sooner?

My parents are actually going to let me move sooner than expected. o.o As I stated in a post about a week ago that I was moving in with my boyfriend in January to start my career. Well, actually I'm going to be moving within the next month or so. -so much packing- I'm going to move in with my aunt first and look for a new job. -until I can get my great dane breeding career on track- I am done with school, I just got to take my last year of SAT's. I'm so thrilled. My mom is a little upset becuase I want to move out really early, and I'm going to be 8 hours away in another state. But, on the plus side I can get a head start in life, unlike most of the people I know my age. Then hopefully me and my boyfriend can find an apartment close to his college campus.

I'll be bringing my laptop with me. I couldn't live without it. D; XD I'm still in the process of talking to my mom, I will keep you guys updated. hahaha Now I want one! Well in the future, if I ever want Great Danes I know who to go to, that's if you become a great dane breeder hahaha

Before I forget, if you do become a great dane breeder, what color of great danes will you be breeding?

oh and a little advice. When you start breeding danes. Keep a back up little job just in case

But you did say with your boyfriend. So he'll have a job after college. You said before a vet thingy. So that should help bring in some monies

Whiney- Thank you as well. XD And I know what you mean, I wanted to breed greyhounds a while back, but now I am completley in love with great danes. Lyc-Yes, there are white great danes. They are known as Harlequin. ;D sometimes the white ones tend to be deaf or have eye defects, but I checked the website out for the ones above and she can hear and see fine.

The down side to the merles is that they can not be used for show and carry the same defect as well. I love the Harlequin's, but I think I am going to breed the mantles or the blues. Tiff- I plan on being a stay at home mom.

Since my boyfriend is going to be on the clock quiet often as a vet, then whos going to watch the kids when we have them. XD But, I plan to have a pet potrait photography buissness, since my boyfriend is going into the vet buissness it's an easy way to get easy customers who love thier pets.

That sounds quite interesting.. Good luck with that all. And that last part made me laugh. smart idea advertise at the vet office.. I ve thought about that, but if your hubby/boyfriend (ha cause you will get married..) anyways they can be like oh my wife/gf is a pet photographer if you ever want pictures done.. Haha smartt..

Ive always wanted great danes for as long as I can remember, its between them and the swissys hmm maybe both..

I was just saying. My mom does that with the kids in my family xD Are dad makes enought money to keep us going (or whatever you call it.) and we breed boxers. I have helped with most of it. Granyed it was only 2 litters. The first one was a perfect litter and borthing. The 2nd one was horrible. But we know what we were doing. Are nieghbor said if we needed help to call her. She breeds the same breed xD (weird right?) and thats a good idea wth the pet thing for families that love there pets. :D

Paradise- Thanks. My boyfriend gave me the idea, because I always wanted to get into breeding or photography, so he told me I could be an idependent photographer and then it came to me. XD Tiff- I love boxers, my friends parents breed them as well. They have two females, I love the way they are built, they have such a pretty figure. 8DD

Awww....sweet!!! I love what you call a white great dane...Harlequin...sounds nice

hahaha Oh yeah, I heard that a lot of dogs with white coats always have problems, like blindness and deaf. That's cheap, I kind of hate it when they don't allow the some colors of breeds be shown. Yeah, I agree with you, the Harlequins are nice

Paradise-It's fun, I just started taking pictures of things around the house like flowers and such, now I have over 200 photos in my portfolio to work with. I even worked with a few wedding photographers. Latley I haven't been taking as many photos because I haven't had time. But, if you need any ideas I will be glad to help.

Lyc- The reason why merles can't be shown is because they have to meet the requirments of a "standard" color. I found some blue danes, from a pure european line. o.o Let me find the link, I will also give you a link to a website that talks about stantard colors and whatnot.

My dogs cant be shown ;.; They dont have there ears cropped. And the is white (my baby <3333) I had a dane but got rid of her cause we didnt have the room. I hope everything work out for you. Smart boy as stated above ^-^

Oh, ok, I understand it better now. That website link help out a lot! Thanks. The blue danes from pure european line you showed me are beautiful. :shock: My brother wants a great dane, but he only likes the Fawn ones, but after seeing the blue danes, he likes those too. hahaha yeah, he's very strict on what colors he wants. But the good thing is that he just wants the dogs for himself, he's not into breeding and showing. As for me, I'm more into showing and rescuing.

I am strict about colors too, becuase personally considering the harlequin and merle are more prone to health issues. But, I really have fell in love with the blue.

Lol. :P Our neighboors are from Venezuela, and they have about 3 dobies, a german shepherd, a miniature poodle, and a boxer. They use them all for showing and breeding, It's great knowing so many different people. I get to see first hand about showing dogs, and dobies are beautiful. :shock:

Oh wow! That's cool....none of my neighbors own dogs, since we live in an apartment. We are the only ones with a dog. Your so lucky, I would love to see/exerience the lifestyle of showing dogs. Hahaha I know, Dobies are like WOW :shock: I seen a couple in real life, but I've always wanted to pet one and I'm still waiting for one day of petting one or owning one hahahha

I am weary about owning "aggresive" labeled dogs, the dobies next door are very protective of thier house. Like when I go outside to take my pups out they bark and charge the fence, becuase they can't see you they can only hear. They also attacked a kitten, but they are great in the show ring and with other dogs. I've seen so many up close attacks in our neighboor hood, one of my dogs has even been attacked by a wolf about 4-5 years ago when I was visting my grandparents. -thankfully she survived-

Thanks....I'm kind of used to owning aggressive/protective dogs *looks at her little doggie* Oh wow about the kitten. I guess I have to socialize my future dobbie a lot and get him/her well trained. Awwwww......that's good to hear that she survived.

We've owned a rottie and lab/pitt mix, I use to ride their backs when I was like two and three.

But, they where so hyper and our lab/pitt attacked another dog and several cats and my dad took her to the pound. Dobbies are pretty easy to train. -at least the next door neighbors dogs are- They even taught the dogs Spanish, they only listen to commands if they are in Spanish. lol.

My doggie is bilingual, he knows english and spanish commands.
