Distemper? ((CDV))

I don't know if anyone on here has ever had a dog with Canine Distemper or CDV. Im kinda hoping that someone has had a dog or even cat make it through it to give me some hope in this situation.<br><br>My puppy Diablo, most people have probably seen pictures of him aroudn the forum or in the contest, He's a pit/red heeler/shar pei pup, about 5 months old now. And his daddy and i are thinking that he has Distemper.<br>He's on medication now and has an appointment with the vet tomorrow to see if it is in fact distemper. <br>Blood tests and such are set up for tomorrow.<br><br>From what i've read distemper is uncureable and not very treatable. I was hoping that someone might be able to help?<br><br>I have no idea what i'm going to do if i lose this dog, he is my baby.<br><br>Thanks<br>-buffy

    I had a cat who had distemper, of course he was a stray.<br>He didn't make it, he died shortly after.
