Two things! [Best day evarrr!]

1.) I met my job today...I have been searching for jobs every where, but it is hard considering there is like no plces hiring in Florida, and I need a temoprary job until I move to Alabma, and I found the BEST job in the world! <img src="http://i30.tinypic.com/2d0icft.jpg"; alt="http://i30.tinypic.com/2d0icft.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> An 8 month old Thai Ridgeback, I get paid to train and watch her for the week, it gives me something to do, FINALLY and if I do a good job her owner will recomend me to other people! 2.) The kitten I found last week, my mom said we can keep it.. I am still trying to tame it and slowly introduce it to us, so I need names if It's a boy. If it's a girl it is going to be Belle, no if, ands, or buts. xDD Cookies to those who read. XD

She is gorgeous, but a handful...she is my friends dog but his mom hired me becuase she works a 9-5 job so she doesn't like leaving her home alone and they don't discipline her, so this will give me a chance to train a stuborn dog. >.> xDD I have cuts on my hands from her pulling on the leash and I got pulled into the mud.

I have a lot of work to do. XD

Oh wow! Sounds like she's going to challenge you hahaha Ouch!! :shock: How did you get cuts on your hand by pulling on the leash? Did you like go into the mud or did you fall into the mud when she pulled you? Yeah it does sound like you have a lot of work to do lava. Hang in there!

I got the cuts becuase when she saw someone she would lunge towards them wanting to play, so I was pulling her back and the leash rubbed against my hand, and it just got done raining so she wrapped her leash around me and I tripped. lol...>.> I already taught her today how to sit and she's starting to learn shake.

It really depends on the way the dog learns, I know my dogs learn well with clicker training and treats, but I also know of some dogs who will do anything for a good scratch behind the ear. The only thing about me working with animals is that my dad doesn't consider it a "real" job, after I was telling him about it and my mom had already said yes (because I am still living with them and the animals will be kept in our house), he told me that I needed to get a real job. For one, I have applied every possible place hiring within my area and for two a lot of buisnesses have been shutting down so if I can start my own buisness I won't have to worry about not having a job or losing it. And if it's something I love to do he shouldn't bring me down about it, today for once I was actually stress free...Plus I am moving in December and possibly sooner, so I would have to quit that so called "real" job anyways.

Thanks! While I was learning about her, her owner said she got the scar on her neck while being transported from Arizona to Florida. The breeder said she didn't have a scar before. But, she was terrified of the crate she came in and her owner thinks the scar came from a cigarette or some type of burn. I can't believe someone would do that to an animal that isn't thiers.

True....my does well with food

But he tends to be very stubborn. lol Oh wow! That's a real job to me. I know how you feel about applying to different businesses and not getting hired. I did the same thing here too in the begining of July. And the sad thing is that they were hiring, and I didn't get one call back or anything. Instead they hired different people. I think the only thing they don't hire me is because I don't have a job history or refs.

Oh well... Yeah don't listen to him. Ooooo....that's like *counts fingers* 3 months away. Yeah, but hey at least you trained the dog and it's better than nothing. And about the burned scar....that's sad. I can't believe they did something like that.

He has daschund in him right? They are very stubborn dogs. :P My dad is very hard headed when it comes to me and animals, I don't think he quite understands that animals are my getaway and doing this job will give me something to do during the week, and prepare me for my future career.

Very stubborn and lazy lol oh ok, i see. Yeah jobs like that will help you out in the long run, since you are going to be working with dogs in the future.
