I made varsity swim at school.

Yay me, I know.

And I'm so excited.. but I might die. Fall apart, and die.

We have our first mandatory meeting on the 25th of this month.. then we start workouts on the 28th every day after school until October. By workouts, I mean running laps, lifting weights, all that jazz. I swam laps over the summer at our local YMCA every day, 6 days a week for 2-3 hours a day, which is a HUGE workout, but apparently not enough for swim. I have no upper body strength, and our coach lifted my arm and says 'We'll fix this noodleness.' ROFL.

So conditioning and workouts for 2 weeks, then we get to start using the pool at the Y in October, so it'll get easier, it's just swimming from there. And I'm SO excited, I've been swimming competitively since I was 5, and I started swimming 2-3 seasons out of the year when I was 12, but I quit swimming about 2 years ago. But I made the team at school and I'm SO stoked.. just not looking forward to workouts. xD

Right now I'm debating on doing swim AND dive, it's kind of a combined thing, instead of just swim. Because if I did both, I could get two varsity letters.. opinions? 8D
