VP improvement?

I always liked these ideas of getting rid of poo statted/overpopulated dogs. <br>But do they ever work? <br>I hear of people getting rid of like hundreds. <br>But has the population improved even a little?<br><br>There are always going to be irresponsible breeders on VP. <br>Breeding for the whatever. <br><br>There probably will never be enough improvement people to rival the amount of people overpopulating the bad statted dogs.<br><br>But I don't know, I'm not interested in most of the VP thingies xD, I don't keep up on it. <br><br>So I was just wondering if they worked?

    lmao, I have released/retired over 2k dogs since the summer. I buy all the bad dogs off the market too, to prevent people from even being able to buy them xD but, I dont do that -too- often because Im afraid people are gonna be like "Why are you killing my dogs?!?!?!" (because, you know, they think internet data is real living dogs...)<br><br>I dont know if theres a huge improvement overall<br><br>but for my breeds specifically (I try to release/retire spaniels & setters most) I have seen improvements I guess xD

    Well, that's neat. <br><br>I wouldn't mind those "dog killing" messages xD, just tell them that they're only data, nothing more.

    I don't think it makes a -huge- improvement. But it does prevent newbies from buying $5 dollar dogs thinking they're such a good deal and then breeding untrained awful stated dogs.

    lol I get messages from people begging me to buy their dogs so I do. Then I will release/retire them and I get messages asking why I killed their dogs and I usually just don't reply. lol <br><br>Sometimes I go on buying sprees and get all the cheap (intact) dogs off the market and release or retire them. People can't breed the neutered dogs so I usually don't pay any attention to them.

    Eh. So I was trying to do mutts, but it seems whenever I retire/release mutts, someone's already on the way to breeding more. And sometimes when I buy a novice's whole stock of poorly bred dogs for sale, I get a message saying thank you and that they have more dogs available. The more popular breeds and mutts are extremely hard to lower unless you have a lot of people working on it.

    xDDDD awww. <br><br>Yeah, I don't know how they get it into their heads that they themselves absolutely NEED to breed their dogs. <br>I understand if they're trying to get 4s on all the stats, but if they're just breeding overpopulated dogs, then what's the point?

    <br><br>Gah. The novices that put thier pups for sale and then yell at you for buying and releasing get on my last nerve. It's perfectly legal for me to do that if I want to.

    Ive seen a small differance. What we should do is get everyone working on one breed at a time, eventually bad breeders will run out of breedings xD rescues could rescue poor dogs and others can buy/release. Imao xD

    <br>hm..<br>but im sure with the more inexperienced people signing on to VP there will still be Bad breeders out there and poorley stated dogs not matter what.. i dont think we shou;d realse every dog just beacuse of there stats..i bought a few poorley stated dogs..neaurterd them and trained them..there on there way to becomming champions :wink:
