A week ago, I went to the pet store looking for some ratties.

I was so excited.

And then, they told us they were supposed to get them in 2-3 days and weren't sure why they hadn't already gotten them.

Well, okay. Waiting a few days isn't bad, I'd have more time to prepare, right? Right. (And indeed I did prepare =P)

So we called every day to ask if maybe they'd come in.

Nope, they hadn't.

So my mommy called them while she was at work today, and they said, "I don't know why, but we're not getting them in until 2-3 weeks..."

When my mother told me that, I think I died a little bit.

2-3 weeks?! ...but that's such a long time when you're acting like an excited little kid waiting for Christmas! Dx

I guess I can get a few more things done while I'm waiting, but I'm just so happy/excited to meet my two new rats and now I have to wait quite a bit longer than they initially told me.

AND, what really makes me mad is they don't know why they're not getting any in until then.

...the breeder is local, so wtf is up with that? Urgh.

-waits impatiently-
