Common color control, should I do it?

I picked up a "Maroon with Moss Green Eyes and `Ai` Love Tatt" colored border collie from a rescue kennel.<br><br>There are 142 dogs of this color (including mine)<br><br>I like gifties, but I support those that search for and control overpopulated colors. <br>So Im trying to deside if I want to just keep the color for the sake of it being a gifty, or change the dog's color to help in the reining in of an out of control color? <br><br>Hmmmm, anyone care to offer an oppinion to help me make up my mind?<br><br>Thanks<br>-LeoTaurus

    As long as you don't plan to breed it, why not keep it?<br>One dog isn't going to make that much of a difference, and if you like the color, you're doing nothing wrong by keeping it =D
