Ok, so for those of you who don't know. . . I'm in high school, but taking college art classes. Last year, I took College Studio 2D Design. You need a 3 on the test in order to pass and get free college credit to any college you wish to go to when you get out of high school. Well, I passed. I posted a while back my projects I made in that class on my DA. Now this year, I'm doing College Studio Painting & Drawing.

So my first assignment is pretty cool. Not anything in my alley at all but I'm up for a challenge! I have to paint/draw (preferably paint) a Picasso themed painting. Using his style. . . Its called Cubism. And well, its not really his style but if you want to know what Cubism is, look up his work. I already have a general idea of what I want to paint. . . Its really hard to describe but I'll try my best. . .

I want to paint a Cubism eye right in the middle of the canvas, with faint hands in the background looking as if they're trying to grab the eye. Then in the foreground, I want it to look as if broken glass is shattering all around the eye.

I know, you're prolly thinking, how the hell is she gonna do that?! O.o But don't worry, I have a sketch and its bomb-shizill ^_- I just need some opinions.

I need a color. Yes, just one color. A base color. Like blue, red, green, yellow. . . So on. I want to take that color, and make it the whole canvas. Then I'll use its shades and sort to make the painting. The thing is, I can't decide what color would grab the viewer's eye mostly! So. . . What color, if you could grab a paint brush right now, would you paint my painting?

Here are some examples of Cubism just so you know the style -
<a href="
