Kennel Name Changes

There was a post on the VP economy... this kind of fits in with draining some of the money from the game. I know a lot of us picked out stupid names for our kennels when we first started (Yes, I am certainly one of them xD Doesn't get any more newb sounding than Nickelback_Luver) SO! Maybe a one time event day or something could be held for kennel name changes. It could cost like, 5 mill to get the kennel & player name changed. This way, you wouldn't have people changing names just because they feel like it - since 5 mill is quite a bit. And, you'd be getting rid of a huge chunk of cash from the game. It could be a permanent feature, too, just add it under the goodies page or something. *shrugs* Just an idea ;P

Question.. If kennel names are allowed to be changed, does that mean everyone will be changing forum names as well? Part of the reason names stopped being allowed to be changed was because we kept loosing track of people. I'll be perfectly honest, chat confuses me and other Ops to no end because people keep changing names. We would be opposed to players changing their names whenever they had the money or wanted to, for this reason.

That isn't possible with chat and trying to remember numbers is a horrible way to try and keep track of people. 326836 vs 263638 compared to tarnish vs Nickel. Chat isn't what's being discussed right now anyway. Just explaining how changing names is confusing.

I like the idea, but I agree with Bama. Mabey you should charge real money, like 5$ so its helping the site, and only people who REALLY want it done will do it instead of having people do it 5 times a day lol. This way it helps vp, and makes OPS life easiry (=

None of my current kennels have the same names anyway, so I dont see the difference xD It's no different then someone dropping a kennel and getting a new kennel for their next sponsor. All this does is saves from having to lose fame points and whatnot. My three Kennels are Nickelback Hounds, Jaded Night & Karma... they're all totally different xD And, I wouldn't allow for people to do it ALL the time, but perhaps have the option when they pay for their upgrade, to be able to change kennel names. If they want to pay 25$ to change their name 500 times...well xD And for five mill? Not many people are going to just keep tossing 5 million away to be annoying with kennel changes. I know I certainly wouldn't.
