First of all, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining or anything, and I do appreciate that the trivia event was held and such nice prizes were handed out and whatnot. ;D

However, that wasn't exactly how I thought it should have ran (I'm not saying I own VP or anything and should make these decisions...I'd just like to point out what my original idea of this whole thing was)

1. The prizes were too big - everyone was very tense, no one was having fun because they were all too worried about winning the big prizes, that it really wasn't the community event I had hoped for it to be.

2. Speaking of community events, I didn't care for how the questions were ran... they were shot at us, we weren't allowed to talk, etc. Half the reason for it being held, in my idea of it, was for people to actually come into chat so everyone could get to know each other and have a good time together. Yes, I understand it has to be somewhat orderly, but the fact that no one was allowed to talk (or had the time to talk) I think made it more of a bad experience. We were all hostile, we never even got to say congrats to each other for getting questions right because we had to get ready to answer the next one 5 seconds later. I think it should have been hosted by an actual person, not a robot that wanted our brains to explode with how fast it was shooting out questions. If this was held monthly, I'm sure players would be more than happy to sit out one night to host the questions and not participate. I know I would. If it was hosted by an actual person, there could be breaks between questions for people to actually talk and whatnot. The whole speed of the event made it seem like it was intended to start and be over as soon as possible, which didn't seem friendly at all to me, and really took away from what the point of the whole event was originally supposed to be.

Also, in accordance to this, I think it should be ran more like the Halloween trivia had been ran. People who got an answer right, had to sit out the next question. This helps ensure that more people will win prizes, so that not one person is getting all the glory.

3. Prizes that I had intended should have been handed out, were new breeds specifically made for Trivia nights. They are breeds you can't get anywhere else BUT from trivia nights. There could be 10 or so, and 2 pairs could be handed out of each every trivia night, which would equal 20 questions total. These breeds could be determined by players coming up with some of them, and then they could be voted on by players, and the top 10 chosen could be made into breeds for this. That would be another community building exercise. Or! Create a post, have people who want to help invent some breeds post there, and throw them into random groups together to help come up with a breed together. Obviously, I don't think people will want to toss their desired personal breeds into this, because, they don't have a 100% chance they will be owning it at all, so I don't think that would be an issue.

Only have a few prizes is what really made this event go downhill, I think. People were too concerned about getting -something- that they didn't have fun. I know I wasn't having any fun, instead I was a ball of nerves. The whole thing just seemed too uptight, when I think it should feel comfortable for everyone.

Anyway, those are my main points ;D If anyone else has anything to add on, feel free to. I just thought I should point this out before they were ran next time, because really, I don't think having huge, fancy prizes was a good idea. It was nice, and I thank Nate and Ari for doing such a thing, but I don't think that's the way it should be ran all the time..maybe for like, a Holiday special or something. Plus, if it was just special breed imports, then it could be ran more often as well ;P

Thanks for reading ;D
All good things must come to an end. All endings will begin new good things.
