Me and this girl in one of my classes, let's call her Nancy, got into an argument. She ended up making me look dumb due to the fact everyone lacked the knowledge to even know what I was talking about.

Everyone knows the difference between Veal and Venison, right?
Well there's a big difference between the two. VERY big difference.
In case you don't know what they are at all I'll tell you. (It's not bad if you don't, it just bugs me when people don't, but act like they do know.)
Veal is a young cow, otherwise known as a calf, used for meat.
Venison is pretty much deer meat.

Well I was talking about deer, then got on the topic of venison. This is how it went.

Me: Oh I love venison!
Nancy: You sick freak! You do know that's baby cow you're eating, right?!
Me: No, it's not. You're confused with veal.
Nancy: Everyone knows venison is baby cow! You're disgusting!
***Nancy stomps off after making a big scene in a classroom.***
I hate it when people do that.

And about hicks.
I'm in FFA and I hear people all the time calling that a "hick thing".
Now I am in no way what people portray as a hick. I wear nice clothes, hardly ever wear my barn/farm shoes to school, and I'm not unintelligent.
People at my school do not know the proper definition of a 'Hick' and think it's anyone who has to do with farms or mudding.
A hick means a person who is not very intelligent or interested in culture, which has nothing to do with farms, farming, or FFA.
People have to have some intelligence to work a farm, or everything on that farm would fall apart.
