First I do the base banner and save it as a finished file (.png) like this: <a href="http://i840.photobucket.com/albums/zz327/Molly-Doll/basebanner.png"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i840.photobucket.com/albums/zz32 ... banner.png</a> Then I open a whole new file and make it sightly bigger than the base banner. I delete the solid layer so it's all transparent. Then I add the base banner onto it and then the photo & text that should pop out and get this: <a href="http://i840.photobucket.com/albums/zz327/Molly-Doll/lilly-done.png"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i840.photobucket.com/albums/zz32 ... y-done.png</a>

Filters > Distort > Video > 3x3 Really easy stuff, that is. You did mean the "video" lines, right?

Thank you! Is there a difference between commissions and just offering a service? xD I'm currently closed right now to banners & personal dog pictures. And layouts I probably won't be doing for the public anymore unless it's through auction... I don't have a lot of time because of homework and school, so I figured auctioning every once and a while would give me lots of time in between orders. I might do the same for personal dog pictures & banners but I haven't fully decided on anything just yet.

Just random gimp brushes I downloaded. In the first one, they're actual clouds but I made them look like dark dust. In the second one, it's not actually meant to be fog or clouds, it's just a random design brush for detail and texture.

Well, first off, if you steal any of these I'll be hurt & angry. And willing to track you down. Luckily I've placed copyrights on all of them, but we all know how that can end... Just don't use them! The words are there for everyone to see, don't use them. There's no hidden meaning behind that. Just don't use them. Here's an image I "GIMP'd" and thought it was pretty. Just a random photo. The editing is not for anyone to judge or give criticism on, it's what I liked. I think it's appropriate to be on VP because my face is most definitely blurred, it was already the style of the photo/editing so I figured it was alright to put it on here. These two are of my eleven-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pit Bull cross, Molly. She's my oldest and biggest baby ever. And also shown in the previous photo. And which part? The swirly decor is a brush, yes. And the two hearts.

Mysterous Love; The "i love you" part is just regular text. I wrote enough of the three words to cover the whole picture and then faded them by erasing them at a certain opacity. Emagyn; That banner is by far my best at blending. My technique is lots of layers and erasing. xD
