Precious is my newest foster puppy. She is 5 weeks old and a brown/white Boxer mix. Here is her story:

I was born in a high-kill animal shelter to a mother with eight other mouths to feed. Within a week, half of us were dead. The people at the animal shelter didn't know what to do, so we kept on getting sick. When it was down to three, my mother's milk dried up. My brother died not long after. Then, it was just me and my sister. My mother was taken by a Boxer rescue group, who didn't take in puppies. So I was left in a box in the kitten nursery, covered in my own waste. My sister's eyes were soon infected and swelled shut. One day, three people from a puppy rescue group came in to look for kittens. They saw me and my sister and were so heartbroken they couldn't leave us. The woman at the animal shelter said my sister was just going to suffer and decided to put her to sleep the next morning. The rescue group thought that was best since her eye would have to be removed. So they took me home. I have been here for three days now and it is amazing. I got a bath, was fed food I could actually fit in my mouth and was given a clean, warm bed to sleep in. This is the life! In about a week, I am going to have my picture taken and tell my story to the world in hopes that I will find a good, loving home!

I will be adding pics of Precious soon (: She a cutie pie!

At age 5 weeks:
<img src="
