Contracts.

I pretty sure this has been mentioned before, just would like an update on how/when/if its coming.<br>Being able to pull contracts whenever, that way if someone is training wrong, taking to long, logs off, whatever the situation may be you can have your dog back as soon as you would like.

  • This may cause to many disputes though. Say the trainer half finishes the dog but then gets busy for an hour. If the person who sent the contract pulls it back before the trainers could finish then the person who sent would want a full refund. But the trainer would argue that they where working on the dog still, and they half finished it. This would just stuff the support box full of people reporting other people. 24hours is not a ton of time, most trainers say in there rules that they will give full refunds if the dog was not completed within 24hours.<br><br>However, maybe adding an option for a 12hour contract into the drop down screen would not be to bad. Adding in the option to make shorter contracts would cause less disputing, but giving the sender the chance to pull back "anytime they want" would just be to hectic

  • I would love the option to remove contracts immediately. I have actually stopped using new trainers because I've had way too many dogs ruined. You can ask for examples, sure, but who's to say they actually trained the dogs and/or who's to say they're not just picking the ones they did right? I've watched a dog be trained wrong and there was nothing I could do about it. Quite a few players don't respond to their messages while they train, and if you say "send it back now" [to a "bad" trainer] they usually get upset or refuse to send it back. I don't take risks anymore and use only a select group of trainers, or I train them myself. Perhaps I worry too much, but I literally stress over using a new trainer until the dog is safely back in my hands. <br><br>Also, when you're in a hurry and the trainer logs off, it'd be nice to be able to pull the contract so you could finish it up. I'm not saying be impatient with trainers, but if a trainer has been told the dog needs to be done within the hour, they shouldn't be logging off right after accepting the contract. True, some things come up and everyone should understand that, but we should be allowed to pull our dogs back if they do. I know I don't send contracts back uncompleted, unless I'm told to do so if I can't complete it before I have to get offline. Sometimes I have to shoot off real quick, and I wouldn't mind it if I came back and the owner pulled the contract. I'd give a full refund, but I'm sure if you did half of the training they'd be fine with a half refund.<br><br>I could definitely see how this could be negative. One, you could have the owner claim you sent it back and act like you scammed them. Messages, however, are a good way to make sure you'd be covered. Two, I could see some impatient people canceling the contract when you're in the middle of training it. Quite frankly though, if they're that impatient you could just give them a refund and refuse future services to them.

  • Very true Ana, there are only about 4 trainers I trust in this game. I guess I just do al lot of it myself. Honestly I like training for myself. I like being in full control of when I finish a line. <br><br>Still, I think a good compromise would be shorter contract lengths. That way if they say they can do it in an hour, you can just make an hour long contract.<br><br>Costume contract lengths maybe? That way if you really wanted the ability to pull the dogs back just make the contract for a bunch of turns but only 1 second long. So you always have the option to pull it back. But you still would give trainers an option to refuse to accept short contracts.
