Yep, you saw correctly. I am getting another horse soon ^.^
I'm starting to let Gambie's death go, I feel better knowing he's safe and out of pain.
Georgia and Creole are great buds but I wanted another horse to keep with Georgia when I show and event Creole next season. My boss at the stables I work at has a Quarter Horse gelding, bay, 7 years old, 15 hands tall.
He was severely neglected at his old home (was left in a pasture with almost no food for an entire winter and undersocialized). He came to the stables 200 pounds under weight, un-broke, and terrified of people.
He has since become one of the most loved and friendliest at the barn and is soooo much fun to work with!

I won't be bringing him home right away, I'm going to work on training him at the stables during my time off and slowly wean him from his current herd to make the transition as least stressful as I can. Since he was neglected he is very clingy with his herd and very protective.

I'm taking it really slow with him and I'll be doing TONS of trust training (which is my favorite to do anyways!).

Pictures later this week when I do my first training session with him!
