Purty much I'll use this to post updates and such on my show heifers. Maybe a few updates on Dazzle, Cayenne, and Sadie since they'll hopefully be the cows I show this summer. Dazzle for sure and Sadie if we can get her milking again since she had her mummy calf, and Cayenne of her udder comes in well. Donna's tasted flesh ori xD Josey is brat... Walked Josey for about 15 minutes, she did really well. She was a bit headstrong. She hasn't been on a halter in about a month. She was hard to catch at first, but once I got her separated from the other 3 calves she came right up to me. I also snapped a set up picture of her. Shes a tad high in her rump right now, or she appears to be. Its hard to tell shes pretty hairy. <a href="http://i41.tinypic.com/24w4v3k.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i41.tinypic.com/24w4v3k.jpg</a>; I'll be working with the other 3 sometime this week I want to walk at least one of them a day for about 15 minutes, this week since its warm.

I love them xD I raise angus cross calves but not for shows... actually mine this year are dwarved because all but one refused to take a bottle. Actually i had bad luck this year. My favorite, angus/herferd cross started eating plastic and it killed him =(, then my next favorite my red angus got tangled in thorns and sliced himself up so badly it killed him. Now i have my black angus hefer and bull and theyre both TINY. Course no milk plus the worst drought in history makes it a bad year for calf raising anyways x.X

Donna went for a ten minute walk, well more of a run for her xD She was a happy little bugger, she'd run in circles around me then get bored and almost slip on the ice in the yard when she tried to stop suddenly.
