My car!!! Okay so I live in a northern state so you know at 7:30 am its like 20 degrees right? well I have a crappy car kind of right now still i can save enough money to buy a decent one =] and so I went out to start y car so it could warm up till I had to leave to get to work at 8..well my crappy car has this issue where my driver's window is broken and doesn't roll down or anything and so when I turn my key...down goes my window...I was like NO NO NO lol and so the moral of this rant is I had to drive my happy butt to work with my window all the way down in freezing weather several times today lol Thankfully my parents came up to where I live and are helping me to fix it but I think all we can do right now is put plastic over it...ughhh whyyy!!!! I need a new car lol<br>End of Rant xD

Sounds like the crappy truck my parents made me drive for a while. Not only is it puke green, but the window doesnt go up on EITHER side. The back window is plastic because the glass one was busted out. This truck does not tell you how much gas you have because the meter is broken and the handle on the inside broke off so i had to unlock it from the OUTSIDE. I hate HATE this truck x.X

Ah, you brought back memories of my stupid Saturn. In the winter the drivers window was broken so it was down all winter. We got it fixed, and it was fine...Until summer. Then the dang thing would only stay up! >.<

Hahaha thats like what I said this morning! I said why does it have to go down during the winter! I mean dang couldn't it at least do this during the summer lol then I wouldn't have a problem lol b/c my car is a 2 door so only 2 windows and no A/C and sooo during the summer when only the passenger window goes down..it gets kinda hott lol

That's like my step-dad has his Dodge Ram and we were loading a boat into its bed and it busted out the window. We had to wait two weeks to get it fixed along with the heat and it rained and snowed off and on BOTH weeks! We were stuck in a freezing cold and wet truck.

Wow! That is a good thing. We put a trash bag over ours but it still got cold and water still was let in.

Lol I imagine it still was cold lol I got some Plastic put on mine but the downfall of that is..well I can't really see very well out of my window.. lol at night its fine b/c I can tell by headlights but idk how well it is going to work during the day and how easy or hard it will be for me to see cars on thats side..ehh yeaa lol kinda worried lol

Yea Im kinda worried about a cop pulling me over lol but what can i do!! lol were supposed to be getting rain/snow tomorrow lol and its not like I have another car lol and I still have college and work lol so ummm yeaaa lol BUT hopefully its going to be getting fixed this weekend =DD if the roads aren't so bad so I can go home or my parents can come up to my house and fix it =DD I can't wait for it to get fixed lol I'm tired of climbing over my seats to get in and out of my car lol =]]

This thread totally reminds me of my mother's old Saturn, the door wouldn't open on the passenger side, and it wouldn't lock on the driver's. So I would always have to open the passenger side door if someone was in the car with me, and I wasn't able to leave anything valuable in the car because it wouldn't lock. And it's a standard... which would always stall and sometimes wouldn't even start! I'd be coming out of a store, hop into the car, turn the key... and nothing would happen. xD I'd be stuck in the parking lot until it DECIDED it wanted to start. I hated it. Now it sits in front of my house like a project waiting to be finished, and I've tried to convince my mom to get rid of it, but she's so determined to get the old thing fixed... Bah. -_-

Ha ha, Reminds me of my old Ford Escort. The fan didn't work so I got no heat in the winter and had to drive with all the windows down to "defrost" my car. Plus, the windows didn't work half the time anyways. The stereo didn't work at all, so I had to drive with no tunes and forget driving on dark days and at night because the lights had a mind of their own.

<br>Our Saturn did the same thing! O.O It must be a Saturn thing. We sold it and it cost the new owner $1200 to fix just that one problem.

<br>Wow now that car has some issues lol but my car fortunately have heat lol but I don't have a radio either lol my volume nob broke and so i can turn it up and its broke where the volume is all the way down...suckkkss lol so when I have to drive back home for the weekend or on my breaks which is an hour and half drive lol it is soo boring lol no tunes...=[[[ but my brother bought me a stereo radio for christmas so hopefully that gets put in soon lol =]
