• Well because you caught it righ away I think she'll be fine. My friend got there too late to catch it early but in time to save his life.
Hes not hers, hes her bosses horse, but as long as she works there hes safe.He only reallly loves her. Its a neat story and there are alot more stories like that from her, she rescued horses for over 40 years but now she doesnt go lookin to rescue..they come to her. Lol

• Thats what racing does to a horse sadly. Messes with legs. My Nova has a bone spur in her knee from running too early. Off the top of my head, i believe laminitis is containable with corrective shoeing.
• Yep, We are going to get better shoes I feel so bad for her having to have her hooves hurt so much

• Its not your fault. Its caused by extreme stress on the hoof (aka racing) or too much grain in the horses diet. Also the horse going into shock can cause it so there are plenty of factors and im guessing the stress she went through at a young age from racing and moving around so much and the stress on the hoof is probably what caused it. Very few racehorses get off the track with good legs and feet sadly.
• Yeah,it is not the diet it is the stress most likely
