New baby leopard gecko. :3

So, some of you now, back in November, I got a baby leopard gecko, her name is Rookie, she's the typical yellow spotted one.
Well, today, I got a new one, Bug. He's albino with white head and tail and a yellow body. He's MUCH smaller then Rookie.
I need help.
When we first put Bug in the cage, he wouldn't leave my hand, then Rookie chased him and acted like she was going to eat him. So, my mom hurried and put the crickets in the cage, now she's happily eating. Bug keeps running around the cage, trying to get under the carpet, wont eat, just looking stressed. Rookie will lick him when he goes by but then just goes back to eating. Is this normal? I want them to live happily..

 • You were right about the eating thing. Geckos eat smaller geckos in nature as they are a great food source and easy to catch. I would not leave them unattended. Consider separating them until Bug is about half of Rookie's size and out of the food chain. Or, buy a separator for your tank.

 • Well, we left them there over night and they seem fine, Bug is starting to shed though, is that normal? We've had Rookie for 2 months and she hasn't shet yet..
 • Shedding is completely different between all reptiles. Rookie may not have has proper growth to begin with where Bug has. Shedding is never a bad thing unless it doesn't all come off.

 • She might have shed before we got her. She was a bit older then Bug. Bug's eyes are closed but the skin is slowly coming off.
 • If you want to help him along, invest in some shed-ease lotion, or soak him in luke warm water for about 15 minutes. Then, take a soft towel to him rubbing is small circles lightly.

 • How long does it usually take for them to complete shedding? He's still got his rear legs, tail and head to go.. He's so small and he looks so stressed. He's been going to the water every so often and just staying there, in it, and drinking.
 • Shedding is very stressful. A healthy shed should only take up to 3 days. You need to be soaking him in water every couple hours and lightly rubbing him down. Also introducing watery foods into his diet such as fruit or mealworms (That have been soaking in water) can help him along. Also buy a mister can help during these times.

 • He's only got his tail to go. It's only day two of shedding.
No sign of him eating yet (he could be eating his skin or eating at night as there are mealworms and crickets in the tank), his is drinking water though. He comes out more often now. I think he's adjusting rather well now. He comes out during the day to drink and to bask, and at night when his light get switched. Rookie has been raher calm, though. She's eating and drinking fine, just more laid back then usual. Hopefully everything settles in soon.
Thank you for all your help. I'll keep up with updates and such. :3
