He's a monster! O.O

So, I got a puppy 6-ish weeks ago. He was just a little guy, weighed about 6 pounds. He's now 30 pounds O.O I've never owned a large breed dog as a young puppy, I've always gotten them when they were around 6 months old, so I had -no- idea that they grew so freaking fast! Oh I know what you mean.. One second they'll be innocent little things and then next week they'll gain like 200 lbs and run through your house looking for trouble! Your pup is adorable!!

Oh my god. He's so friggen cute. He's cuter now than he was when you first brought him home (in my opinion). Aww. Can't get over that adorable face and huge paws.

This sounds about right for a Pitbull and Lab puppy, dunno what happens when you mix the two though. xD How big was his daddy? I bet he'll be bigger then 65 pounds, I don't think up to 100 though. All of the Pitbull/Lab mixes that have come in have been 70-88 pounds, so you're still lookin at a pretty big size. My typical Tosa puppy is around 55 pounds at only six weeks, they get so big so fast. It's bitter sweet for me when raising a puppy. I don't want them to grow up but at the same time I can't wait to see what they look like grown. Enjoy the experience of his awkward puppy monster stage while you can! He's adorkable!!

Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to see his father =/ So then he'll probably be bigger than my Coonhound. Oh joy,lol 65 pounds at 6 weeks? Daaaaaaang Zyn!

If I don't see a puppy's sire I will forever wonder if he's really what the previous owners say he is, then I would do all that I can to find the baby daddy. Like on Maury. lol. I'm compulsive. O.o I didn't even realize it was the same pup at first, he looks so different. I thought he was some sort of husky or shepherd mix judging from that pic alone. He looks nothing like his new born self. You have to post more pics!! He's going to be a strong one. Those legs are thick. WEIGHT PULLING ANYONE???!!! xD Absolutely!

I feel your pain Dx My sister got a shar pei thinking he would be a medium dog (pfft he's this big thick bulldozer) that went from <a href="http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss170/clozobozo/DSC_0726.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">innocent 2-4kg</a> to <a href="http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss170/clozobozo/DSC_0417.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">silly roughly 25kg</a> in the space of like 8months

I LOVE your dog xD I don't know what it is but I can just imagine him having the perfect personality.... does he? >.>

Your vet might be able to tell you how much it should roughly weigh as an adult. They could my pup so maybe that could help you prepare?

He has a thick Labrador-style body and his fur looks waterproof like a Lab's but there's certain photos where you can clearly see the Pit Bull part of him. Looks like he got the best of both breeds, in my opinion. He's a very nice looking dog and I absolutely love his mix. Chocolate, my uncle's Lab/Pit Bull took on more Pit looks than Lab, but she's no larger than my Pit Bull/Rhodie mix... I'm sure he won't get any larger than a Labrador. You can only really tell if you'd seen the dad or if you consult with your vet. But male Labs are generally 60-75 lbs, however they can get as large as 100 lbs... according to <a href="http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/labrador.htm"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/labrador.htm</a>; Let's just hope that his father wasn't a Pit Bull mixed with an even larger breed. xD

Typically, if you double the weight of most medium/large breed puppies at 4 months, you'll have a good idea of their adult weight. It works for pit bulls and if he's half pit bull, I don't see why it wouldn't work for him. He definitely looks more bully now. I didn't really see it in his baby pictures though. But look at that long hair!!! He's pretty cute!

Zyn- Well good, you can come train him for it then, cuz I'd surely mess it up somehow,lol Em - Hmm that is a rather good idea. He's pretty fast so that'd be good for the whole running part of it all. Maybe I could make you and Zyn both happy and have him weight pull while dock jumping....juuust kidding. Gar - Yea I'm thinking he'll have a Pitbull head with a Lab looking body maybe. You all are making me want to go hunt down Daddy dog,lol Zag - Really? That's a pretty nifty tip!
