Unlucky 13

So my dear beloved Ford Taurus turned 13 this year.<br>Timmy was joking that this was going to be an unlucky year for it.<br>..... Why'd you have to say that?!<br><br>He jinxed me.<br>Some one broke the driver's side mirror off while we were icefishing, Thanks.<br>Chunk of ice came off a van infront of me on the Interstate and cracked the windshield, fantastic.<br>Transmission is starting to slip bad between first and second gears, great!<br>Brakes went out on Christmas and we replaced the front ones, yay.<br>Some one crashed their bike into the car while it was parked outside my house, scratched and dented the back fender, hurray.<br>Car slid into a brick building during an icestorm, cracked the tail light, oh fun.<br>And to top it all off went outside to day to find a puddle under the car (no no no no!)....<br>Master cylinder is shot, no breaks. <br>*sigh*<br>I love you ol' girl but what am I going to do with you?<br><br>Just felt like venting my poor luck and tragic car drama.<br>Thank you for being my catharsis.<br>(fingers crossed)<br>-LeoTaurus

    I drive a 17 year old Honda Civic, so I definitely feel your pain. In the past year I've replaced the radiator, timing belt, and water pump. Got rear ended, so there's a huge crack in my bumper. My compressor just blew so I have no AC, not that I had it before, but now it's definitely a $600+ fix. <br><br>AND I thought it was hilarious that someone knocked your side mirror off, because the same thing literally just happened to me last week at Walmart. $60 for a new mirror. :| <br><br>I like how people look at my car, see that it's old, and automatically assume that it doesn't matter if they destroy it because I 'obviously don't care'. Just like whoever hit my mirror, you know you did it, but did you leave a note or any money or a number to help me replace it? Nope.

    Who ever broke my mirror off at the boat landing not only knew that they had done it, but they also had the gall to throw it in the woods by the landing. Like really?! you couldn't of just left it lying next to my door?

    That's so stupid! Whoever hit mine didn't knock it completely off, but you could definitely tell it was broken just by looking at it. People are so inconsiderate.
