• Best way to deal with her is to ignore her. Give her single word or even just grunts for replies and she'll lose interest pretty quickly.

 • Tell her congratulations. If y ou dont give her a reason to brag she cant. If she still tries it gush with her over how amazing she is. You dont have to believe it but it might get you out of her trap.
 • ok thx guys just kill her with kindnes si gues so ill keep u posted with wht happens on sun.:)

 • Try not to worry. Riding horses isnt supposed to be about winning but having fun. I had a show on my QH three weekends ago. I didnt place however i was THRILLED at how much improvement i saw out of her compared to when i got her a little less than a year ago. I couldnt control her a year ago but now i know how to ride her through her crazies and calm her down before she freaks herself out. I congratulated the winners and left the show with a smile on my face because all of our flying lead changes were intact even if my girl decided she didnt wanna stop. Not too bad for her first show when all the horses there have been competing for 7 or 8 years.
 • wow thats great! yes i am good an di have fun it would just be perfect if she was not there though

 • Every competition has the girl who just wants to see others fail. You could always mention to her that there were four other girls who had higher ribbons than hers. All you have to worry about is improving on your OWN riding.

As a reiner, i find this picture doubly as inspirational.
<img src="http://i47.tinypic.com/35luvk7.jpg"; alt="http://i47.tinypic.com/35luvk7.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

 • Kill her with kindness. Show her that you are a better person than she is. Be nice and wish her luck before her classes. Trust me, I know how you feel. I have been called some pretty nasty names at shows, and by people I don't even know! I've always used kindness as my weapon. Good luck. :)
