My Story :) Feedback Wanted!

So I was going to enter Zagari wolf's Writing contest but I soon realized this was too big of story to complete within the end date so now I am deciding weather to finish the story or not(Just for fun not for the contest). I have loads of ideas but I need honest opinions of if it is actually a good read or if I should try a new story and plot. The four main charries were created by Zagari Wolf I don't take credit for that!<br><br>So I only am posting a few chapters for now so that I don't overwhelm anybody. haha I know how that goes "This is too many words im not going to read it!" Well I hope I shrunk it down enough so you don't think that as much.<br><br>Friends Till The End:<br> Intro:<br>Friendship comes in many forms. Some are shy friendships with shy people that rarely talk while others are athletic loud people ready to speak their mind. And then there are the groups of friends that don’t make sense, ones whose members you would think would never talk to one another. But somehow they ended up best friends. That’s what happened with Owen, Daryn, Addison, and Preston. But their friendship was tested when they got lost in the woods one day how do they really feel about each other?<br> Chapter 1:<br>“We should go explore the Patterdale woods!” Shouted Owen as he strolled into the living room. Addison winced at the loud voice then lit up “Oh my gosh! Yes!” it was rare for her to show her excitement much. Preston was shaking his head and opening his mouth to talk before he heard Addi, he had always had sort of a brother sister relationship with her and he was not about to crush his fake sisters rarely shown excitement. So he just sat down and shut his mouth waiting for Daryn to speak, since her vote would most defininantly be the deciding one. Daryn sat back in her chair relaxed with a bag of chocolate chips in her lap. She plopped one chip in her mouth then looked around the room at how everybody was reacting to the strange suggestion. The group normally just sat around channel surfing since they lived in Washington the weather never really tempted them to go outside, always gloomy. She starred back at the TV “You know they say anybody who dares to go there gets lost? And then they have to spend the night out in the woods, that’s when the ghosts get em!” She tried to hold back her smile she knew that that would scare Addison and Preston the two chickens of the group. Addi glared at Daryn “That’s not going to work on me this time. I wanted to go see what animals are out there!” Her eyes lit up like a Childs as she mentioned that her mind raced with what possibilities’ there were. Owen smiled “I can answer that for you Ad! There are man eating bears!” He said with a chuckle. Addi slumped back in her chair somewhat embarrassed and angry that they weren’t taking her seriously. Daryn stood up tossing her chocolate chip bag onto the chair and stretching “Well we better leave now if we want to be back before the ghosts come out.” She said before scampering over to the door. <br> Chapter 2<br>Owen took the lead “You know I used to be a boy scout!” Daryn laughed and pushed him aside taking the lead for herself “Okay good to know incase we need to sell some candy later.” Owen grumbled something then decided to change the subject. “So Ad what kind of animals would you like to see out here?” Owen asked looking back at her briefly. Addison looked around as if the trees would give her the answer “I don’t know… I suppose I would be happy with anything unique. You know stuff we don’t see at home.” Owen nodded “Well I am sure we will see something weird.” And there it was as if on que a strange looking rodent, which didn’t look like it belonged in the united states at all. “What the hell is that? That thing belongs in Africa! Go back home negro!” Owen shouted. Daryn stared at the black rodent then turned and slapped Owen on the arm “Knock it off! You don’t have to be racist against the poor thing! Its already sad enough being that ugly.” Addison looked at the two then her eyes fell on Owen his angry expression gave the impression a growl would rip out of his mouth. Owen glared at Daryn “I wasn’t being racist.” He said ready to fight back if needed. Preston held up his hand as if to try to calm everybody “Okay are you really going to fight about a little rat?” Owen and Daryn looked at each other knowing that Preston was right this was a pointless fight, they just shut up and turned away from each other. Addi leaned down and smiled at the little creature “His name is Gabe.” She said looking up at the others for a moment. Daryn looked confused “Gabe? After Gorgeous Gabe at school? The one you have a crush on.” Addi stood up “I don’t like him!” Owen could tell she was lieing and for some reason that annoyed him. But it wasn’t the fact she was lieing it was the fact she had a crush on Gabe, but Owen couldn’t figure out why that bothered him. Daryn laughed “Please you stare at him like he is some superhero.” Addison looked away slightly embarrassed that now everybody knew who she liked. “Well are we going to stare at some nasty rodent all day?” Owen nodded “Yeah we should keep walking.” Addison took up the rear of the train of friends not wanting to talk to them much right now, she enjoyed just looking around and was fine not talking. Preston Owen and Daryn chattered away as Addison gazed at the animals and plants, dazzled by the fact she had never seem them before even though they are her neighbors. Hours pasted. Suddenly Owen stopped making Daryn almost run into him.”Uh guys do you know the way back?”<br> Chapter 3<br>They had been walking for hours so many twists and turns had been taken without somebody bothering to remember them so they could get home. All of them stood there speechless they were lost. And it was getting dark. Addison stood there holding in her fear, she liked being in the woods during the day but the woods at night was different, dangerous. They stomped around for a bit searching for anything they remembered from the trip here but nothing sparked any memories. “I think we have to spend the night….” Preston said quietly not wanting to accept it. <br> They set up some make shift shelters using Owens boy scout knowledge which turned out to be nearly non existant. They ended up making two shelters since Owen and Daryn couldn’t get along. Owen laid next to Addison in her shelter then looked over at her she had her eyes closed and was unaware of him starring at her. Owen looked at her new feelings rushing through him, feelings that hadn’t been that strong before. He had always had sort of a thing for her but he was the only one who knew, he didn’t even tell Preston. Addison opened her eyes and jumped as she saw Owen starring at her. Owen smiled reassuringly “Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” Addison nodded “So what do you think of all this Owen? Do you think it’s the hikers curse?” Owen looked out into the wilderness “Nah I just think its coincidence. Addison looked at him her Green eyes full of doubt “I don’t think so” She said sadly “I wish you were right.” Owen looked back to her then put his hand on her shoulder “It will be okay. I am sure tomorrow we find our way home.” Addison looked at him not sure weather to hold onto the hope that he was right or to just accept her likely fait of dieing out here. She snuggled up in a ball trying to keep from shivering but it was no use it was a cold night and her short shorts and tank top did nothing to warm her. Owen looked over at her then slid his body closer to her wrapping himself around her. “Stay warm Addi.” She giggled lightly that was an inside joke of theirs they always used that line from the outsiders ‘Stay Gold PonyBoy’ but they always changed the gold part. Her breathing soon slowed to a sleeping pace and Owen was left with nothing to do but follow her lead and go to sleep. <br> Chapter4<br>Owen and Addison awoke to the shout of Daryn. Addison sat up “What was that?” She said like a scared little mouse. Owen sat up beside her “You stay here I will go check things out.” He hated leaving her in that state freighted and now alone. <br> Owen jogged over to the others shelter which was not but ten feet away “Everything okay?” Daryn looked up at Owen “Sorry to disturb your slumber!” She spat at him. Preston looked at Daryn “Come on honey you don’t have to take it out on him.” They had been a sorta couple for a few months now but never acted like it besides making out and sometimes using pet names. Preston glanced up at Owen “She just had a bad dream.” Owen nodded and headed back to him and Addison’s shelter but saw Addi wasn’t here. With anybody else he would be just angry they didn’t obey his command to stay put but with Addison he was just worried sick. “Addi! Where are you?” Addison came out of the bushes with a limp noticeable in her stride. “Addison are you okay?” Owen rushed over to her putting his hand to her cheek and looking into her eyes. Addison looked away embarrassed “I tripped on a rock. I just needed to go pee!” Owen chuckled seeing as she was so upset about having to pee he figured she wasn’t to hurt. “Well did you take your pee?” Addison pushed him aside holding back a giggle she started walking back to their shelter “Come on peeing is SERIOUS stuff.” She was overly limping playing up her injury. Owen scooped her up “Hum I think you need a doctor for that SERIOUS injury.” He said mocking her. She giggled and let him carry her back to bed in their little shelter made of leaves and sticks. Owen tried to look at her leg to see how bad it was. Addison looked at him shaking her head “Owen I’m fine I’m sure its just a bruise.” Owen looked at her and smiled. They looked at each other for a moment then Addison looked away shyly. Owen stared at her wanting to kiss her badly but he knew that would not be okay in their situation and all. Addison laid next to him cuddling up to him for warmth “How do you stay so warm? Are you secretly a were wolf?” He chuckled “Yeah and you are always cold so you are a vampire?” Addi looked up at him not sure if she was feeling friendship feelings or something stronger. Owen smiled then put his arm around her and laid his head on hers whispering “Come on Ad get to sleep.”<br>Chapter 5<br> Dazed and confused Addison woke up in the middle of the woods, not where she last remembered being. They had been in the woods for two nights now and had seatled down at a pond to take a rest this is the last memory she had but she knew there was a memory missing. The memory of how she got here. She started to try to get up and let out a scream her stomach felt like it had been shot. After a few minutes of struggling and groaning in pain she managed to get herself in a sitting position against a tree. Addison looked down at her stomach releasing the hand that had been holding onto her wound. Blood poured out like Niagara falls, she whimpered in shock and pain. She tried to think back to her first aid class but all she could remember was how to treat broken bones not how to heal an open stomach wound. She looked at it for a second then realized the blood was oozing out of three horizontal cuts parallel to each other, they looked like claw marks. Then it all came back to her a bear had attacked her when she went to go look for some fruit and then it must have dragged her out here planning on eating its kill at a later date. Addison looked around scared, a tear dripped down her cheek “I want to go home.” She whispered very quietly. <br> Preston stood up as he heard Addison’s scream “Guys I think Addis hurt!” He said grabbing the spear he had made then charging into the woods. Owen was still half asleep but woke right up after Preston’s announcement. Owen bolted after Preston “Addison!” He couldn’t remember a time when he was more worried about somebody. “Ad! Addie!” Addison jumped when she heard the first yell but then a reassured feeling took over her body. “Over here!” She shouted trying to help the boys locate her. Just then she saw Preston bounce out of the trees “Addison!” He said running over to her. “Are you okay?” he said. Addison looked up at him the blood loss was starting to take affect she had to really focus to understand what he asked but she was too weak to speak so she just nodded. “We are going to fix you up Ad. You will be okay. I promise!” Addison heard he first sentence then blacked out. Owen rushed over to the scene “Is she alright?” Preston had tears coming from his eyes “She is pretty banged up Owen. I don’t know if we can fix her without doctors or a hospital.” Owen leaned down by Addison his feelings taken over, he had never been an emotional person but seeing Addison with death lurking over her shoulder brought tears to his eyes. <br> It took about fifteen minutes for Preston and Owen to bring her back to camp. “ Daryn took one look at them and knew it was bad. Looking closer at Owen she thought are those tears? But her thoughts were cut short at they rushed Addison over to her. Owen took the lead setting Addison on a flat rock that would have to work as an operating table. Owen rushed to grab his back pack then pulled out a carry sized sewing kit his mom never let him leave without, and right now he was really great full of that. “Preston fill up one of the water bottles and bring it to me.” Preston followed the order like an obedient soldier. Owen grabbed the water from Preston then started cleaning out the slash marks in Addisons stomach. After it looked clean he started sewing her up. After he was done with the make shift surgery he leaned over and kissed Addison then walked over to the others “She is going to need a few days to heal but I think she will be fine once her body has made more blood to make up for what she lost.” Daryn smiled “Hu never really pictured you as a Doctor. Doctor Owen Anderson.” Owen smiled “Well I guess I can become a doctor for a friend.” He got a weird feeling when he said friend he felt as if that was down grading their relationship. But he had to remember that’s all they were, friends. <br> Addison woke up, the first thing she saw was that she was in some sort of shelter similar to the ones they made the first night here. She tried to sit up but groaned in pain and retreated to her laying position. Owen walked in a few minutes later “Good morning crippled.” He said with a smile then sat down next to her. “You thirsty?” He said offering a water bottle. Addison grabbed the water with shaky hands then took a couple sips. “What happened?” She asked unable to recall anything. Owen looked at her a bit shocked she didn’t remember anything “Well you were attacked by an animal we think it was a bear. Me and Preston brought you back and I sewed you up.” He said summarizing a lot, leaving the part out that he cried and that he kissed her while she was unconscious . Addison nodded “So doc when will I be able to walk?” Owen looked at her “Whenever you can stand the pain. It is going to hurt for probably weeks since we don’t have any painkillers.” Addison sighed closing her eyes and turning away from Owen “I just want to go home.” Owen laid down by her “We will be home soon. And once we are I will make you some chocolate pudding.” That was the groups ‘sick food’ they always made chocolate pudding when somebody was sick. Addison smiled then rolled over on her side which hurt but then the pain when away after she stopped moving. She rested her head on Owens shoulder and her hand on his chest. Owen smiled wanting this moment to never end. <br> Chapter 6<br> Daryn walked in waking Owen and Addison up. “Rise and shine! We think we found a way out of the woods!” She said. Owen looked up at her and said“Addie can’t walk yet.” Addison slapped Owen playfully “Of course I can!” She started getting up holding back the sounds of pain wanting to escape her mouth. Daryn smiled “See now we can go home.” Then she walked out of the shelter. Owen looked at Addison “Are you sure you can walk all the way?” Addison looked back at him “Yeah I am tougher then I look.” She said slightly annoyed. Addison started walking out of the shelter the pain was unreal at first but then she got used to it. <br> They had walked about a mile when they came to a steep cliff. Owen glared at Daryn “Oh yeah you found a way home alright!” He said angrily. Daryn glared at him then slapped him in the face “Shut up! At least I am trying to get us home! What have you done? All you have been doing is kissing Ad when she is asleep!” Owen glared at her how dare she bring that up “At least I care about her! All you care is that she is holding us back!” Addison watched the fight happening in front of her many shocking things were being said. Owen had kissed her while she was asleep? That was weird but she didn’t seem to even care about that much she cared about the fact that she is holding them back. Daryn then said“Well we aren’t ever going to get home with her being this slow.” Addison looked at everyone, nobody seemed to care that she was there even though the fight was about her. Addison just turned and started walking following the hill with the cliff they had found. She noticed it looked more like a canyon, it looked like the grand canyon!<br> It was Preston who was the first to notice Addison was gone. “Guys Ads gone!” He said looking around frantically. Owen stopped talking looking at Preston then to where they had last seen Addison. “Did she just walk off?” Preston Glared at their two “Yeah because you always fight. Ad doesn’t like fighting it makes her scared so she left. Ad is out in the woods alone somewhere and it’s your guys fault!” Preston shouted. <br><br><br>This is all I am going to post for now. I will tell you the next few chapters and most definitely not what you would expect, I kinda shocked myself with it haha<br><br>Feedback Welcome and very much wanted!
