Any one else not a big fan of xmas?

Is there any one else out there in the vp world that is just not a big fan of Xmas? <br><br>This is just one of the saddest/depressing times for me, and as soon as December comes around i count the days for Xmas to being over instead of it being here. <br><br>We can't really afford any presents or anything, which has been this way for years of my life so its really not a big deal, and its just me my mom and my little sister, and no other family and its just sad cause my mom gets depressed because she can't get us the things she wants us to have =( then it makes me feel bad, All I care about is us just bein together, but she is still always sad about it. <br><br>I feel bad cause I can't afford to get anyone Xmas presents either, all the money I make goes to help my mom pay bills, so its just really hard. <br><br>Ive been giving sooo much away lately to my friends here on vp, to kinda make up for it, lol idk why but it feels good to at least be able to give here on vp. <br><br><br>Merry Christmas to all that enjoy Christmas-Which I think everyone should!

    *raises hand* Me!<br><br>I border on hating Christmas. We don't have a lot of money to buy presents either. I don't care if I get presents, but I do like to get stuff for other people. And then there's the yearly drama. My father doesn't live with us, and the only time I see him is at Christmastime (at the family gathering). We're so awkward around each other because we really don't know each other any more, plus he doesn't approve of my tattoos, and black nail polish (like it's even a big deal). I could go on, but I'll just stop before I end up writing a novel,lol.

    We're kind of in the same situation so I feel for you plus it's our first year as a split family. :/ I hope you guys have a great Christmas maybe things will turn around :)

    I'm not into Christmas at all and my whole family knows it. I try not to mention it too much so it doesn't upset them ^^.<br><br>We are in a similar situation as you and I am currently on a job hunt to help pay for my moms bills as well because we are running out of money and are living paycheck to paycheck. My mom is in a job position that is really far below her skills. She says its a job a high school graduate can do and she has a masters degree and yyeaaarss of experience.<br><br>It's almost over so try to get through it =) Least its only once a year.<br><br>For me, regardless of my position, I was never really a fan of Christmas anyways. The circumstance just make it a little more worse, you know? I hate snow, holiday music, holiday movies, etc. The ads drive me insane! Let's just say I dislike most things associated with it ^^; <br><br>I can say the only time I like Christmas, is when I make that perfect gift for someone that I know they will love and is very thoughtful. Ideas for me only spawn once every few years though for that type of thing xD.

    ...Im so so sorry to hear that =( i can't even imagine =/....I had a fried whos mom passed away on his birthday. I just can't imagine.

    <br><br><span style="color:#400080">Yeah it was really hard, she had been ill for the past 13 years before she passed away about 3 years ago. Christmas was her favorite holiday too so its usually a rally sad day for me. This year has been one of the better holiday times that I've had for a long time.</span>

    I love Christmas, but my fiance dislikes it. We are very different. I love Christmas even when I don't have any money which is most Christmas' at the moment, but I tend to draw or paint things for people. I only bought a few gifts, and then I painted 2 of the presents. Luckily my friends are in the same boat since we all get money from the government to sustain a living whilst studying, so we are waiting for our next pay-day to get presents for each other. <br><br>This year has been harder than most for me though, since I lost a good friend on the 29th Dec 2007, and I think about him every Christmas, he didn't enjoy Christmas either, and last year I lost my unborn child, so it's hard at Christmas now since I think about the people that should be here at Christmas.
