Boy'o. - Little Update.

A new member to join my family, Boy'o (Named by my Father.) Was thinking I would show you guys him, seeing I guess APBTs all seem to have different builds from different places, Yes he is pure, he is from Jeep lines, which is a line in New Zealand, that I hear a lot of people like to think they have a jeep pup, which is the heavyer build line of dogs, not the tall lean/skinny looking fellas a lot of people around here own.

Most of the Jeep Pits I've seen have had lean, game bodies. The Game Bred Pitbulls most commonly owned here are from Jeep lines. A friend of mine owns four Jeep dogs, and we go to Bully shows together every year. Your puppy is cute. Were you able to get his pedigree?

No, I'v don't believe many people have papered APBT here now days, the laws are very tight on them, not as tight as a lot of places, I'v been told a lot of them here are heavyer built T.T I did try look the jeeps one time but never found anything on it

, I also heard Tomb Stone is a line? that was the first line from America to come to New Zealand though I'v not looked it so not sure about them. But Thank you, I keep getting told hes gonna be bigger than his father but I guess I'll wait and see.

When I consider a dog the first thing I ask about are his papers.

I know a lot about Jeep, seeing as they're a Game line and those are the types I specialize in. If you ever need any info I could help ya out a bit. : ) And yes, TombStone is a small line out of Iron Man and Xtreme Bully Pitbulls, but i'd consider them American Bullies, not pure APBTs. Yeah, Your boy looks like he's going to be a big guy. : )

Cheers ;D be good for any help I may need, I'v owned Pit crosses but never a Pure one, just wanting to keep him in good shape and keep up with his training, will get some better pictures tomorrow if its sunny. Ahh thats good to know, not seen them, a girl said to me she owned some and was wondering about the line.

More pics are -definitely- needed. And by the way, I'd take a Jeep pup over a Tomb Stone ANY day. xD I'm a big fan of Crenshaw's Jeep and have a friend that owns his Grandson (x4). He was a beautiful champion. I own, breed, train and compete my own line of pure Game APBTs these days, so as I said before, I can help you with anything. Info, health, training and feeding tips, or whatever you need. You're going to have a great dog on your hands. : ) Congrats on your new bully pup!

How old is Boy'o? I looove this name by the way! More pictures are a must! I agree with everything Zyn has said. Jeep was a game dog so he himself was a tall, leggy dog. He's in my pup's pedigree a couple times several generations back! Thanks guys ;3, Yeah, his feet are huge wonder if thats why hes tires fast xD Though hes still a baby so must be why hes sleeping most the time, Be awsome for any ideas that work for training recall, hes a lot different from my last few dogs I'v owned/worked with who loved to please, I think its one main thing I really need to teach him due to the people around here can be scared of the breed and stick up their noses to them sadly. Thanks Zag ;D I was told hes 13 weeks old o.O' though I'm not fully sure on it, I was told he was born on the 24th of July which would make him younger.. so I need to ask about his age again when I see the people who bred him. Awww! Love, love, love him! He's got the same ears as Pirate only opposite! Ears change a lot during teething. Pirate's are still changing but he's just now 4 months. A lot about your pup reminds me of mine. lol I'd say yours is definitely going to be bigger though. It is hard to tell in pics. Can't be certain. I think his dad looks pretty big from that picture. No one can guess bloodlines from pictures alone so I don't know. Mom is adorable! I love a liver based white dog. So pretty! Jeep might be back in the ped somewhere, but I'd venture to say there are a lot of other bigger dogs mixed in there too.

Hes gonna be huge everyone keeps saying to me, His father I know they swim him a lot, as they live near a beach which built him up a fair bit. The ears change as well? thats something new, most my dogs I'v had, I'v never owned them as pups, like my dog Gypsy, (though shes not lving with me)I got her as a 1 year old, so this is new to me, owning a puppy. Yeah, I was looking at Pirates photos that you had up of him, the size is a huge different in my eyes and the built will be very different but i would love to see how different he turns out compared to my fella. Pirate is a very hamson boy ;D. The Mother was offered to us on terms she would be bred so we ended up waitting, she is a lovly colour. I am wondering would small walks be alright at this age ? or just trying to get him to play for a bit because I take him out so he can do his whatevers. He seems to like getting hugs and such than play right now and just sleeping most the time xD. I would love to keep him fit and take him on my runs with me when hes older.

Yes, ears continue to change as they are teething. That's how people are able to mold the ears into a proper set by gluing and taping. The cartilage is still hardening and if you glue the ears in a rose position, you are training the cartilage to stay in that position. Many breeds are glued and taped, collies, Irish terriers, well, many different terriers, natural eared great Danes, etc. We'll have to keep each other updated on our pups growth! I'd love to compair them when they are both full grown!

Short walks are perfectly fine at this age. I wouldn't seriously work him until he is about a year and a half old.
