Gaining a/c in boarding...

What factors affect how a dog improves in boarding? I had a few dogs in different boarding kennels for nearly a year. The owners of those kennels claim to check them daily/frequently, but my dogs barely improved (some didn't improve at all). The dogs that are in my boarding kennel will gain .3-.5 points the first night they're in boarding, and I have dogs that have gained over 100 points in a/c that have only been in my boarding kennel about 6 months! Does the breed, training, or starting a/c have anything to do with how quickly and how much a dog improves? Is it based on how much the kennel is checked? Or is it just random...

I'm also curious about this. I usually stick with one or two boarding kennels where I place all my dogs between eventing. I've had groups of dogs of various breeds in kennels that I know check the dogs daily. I'll have some dogs a/c raise while others of different breeds not rise at all when they were in the same kennel at the same time.

I have not been able to find a pattern that affects which dogs gain in boarding most quickly.

I have noticed lately its my APBT's, Dogo, and French Bulldog that aren't gaining while most my other breeds seem to be going up.Wonder if its the bully breeds being stubborn XD
