I have an 11-year-old Pit Bull mix that is dog-aggressive. Or, at least, used to be.
She attacked and killed a toy poodle around four years ago, maybe three. I was walking her and the poodle was barking at us, far from its owner and off leash. The…
All these horses are beautiful! I have a fear of horses but they're such amazing animals at the same time. xD

Easy fix.. have her declawed ;D we declaw all our cats.
I go along with this it is better to do it at a young age cats do that naturally and there is really no way to fix it unless you de-claw the cute ki…
I agree with NOT declawing her - good choice. It's unnatural and completely only beneficial to owners and not the pet itself. If she were ever to escape from your home (assuming that she's an indoor cat), she wouldn't be able to defend herself again…
You definitely have to call animal control. I would've called as soon as the dogs showed up at my house if my females weren't spayed. Didn't it cost more to take care of the puppies than to have your female spayed? That was always my concern when de…

I can only tell how young she is by how tiny her body is, she can easily fit in the palm of two hands.
My English Bulldog at 6 weeks was bigger than that, & this is a APBT...so I would imagine it should be bigger.
Where is Zag hah…
I'd say 5-6 weeks but my guess is as good as yours. I find it difficult to determine some puppies' ages. Regardless, the poor baby is still way too young to be separated from momma.
I don't see purebred Shih-Tzu in him at all. He actually reminds me of a Pekingese mix or something... And he doesn't seen to have the coarse "hair" texture that Shih-Tzus have, he looks like he has softer, smoother fur.
I know that one of our older dogs, Max, has always been lazy. And he has put on weight but I know it's not from his neuter... it's from lack of the proper amount of exercise. He honestly won't do anything with me (he's my mom's dog). He hates jumpin…
Anchor Gal - Aw, Yorkies are adorable. I'd probably be interested in having one if it wasn't for the grooming - I'm not a big fan of dogs with high-maintenence grooming. xD

Zag - Anything to help stop it and I'm there! My dogs and cats have never contributed to the overpopulation, they're always spayed and neutered at 6 months. :]
Anchor Gal - I totally understand that show dogs need to be intact. :] What kind of dog …
Vampy - He hates his cone! I could only get him to wear it for about five minutes... His head kept falling because he wouldn't hold it up. xD
It sounds like you kept your female intact for good reason(s). I don't think I could handle having an inta…
I've never heard of a dog do this and not responding to training. I do agree that positive reinforcement is the only thing that really ever works... On all four dogs, it's the only training that works for me. Smacking him will never work.
