Well, see, I'm no GIMP professional. I'm still figuring a lot of it out! But I'm pretty sure you can do the exact same things with photoshop as with GIMP; it's just not as simple and takes a few extra steps.

I use GIMP 2.6.2 (: I don't like overdoing brushes -- I'm VERY much into simplicity. xD But if I'm asked to GO ABSOLUTELY CRAZY with all brushes, I know how to get into it.
