They will probably love the cherry sticks Also what type of cage do you have for them because I know my hamster used to chew through certain types of cages and they are kinda similar to gerbils.

My gerbil used to do that all the time but nothing ever happened to it, although we bought a ceramic bowl for it because it wouldn't stop chewing the plastic ones. Our vet also told us that the cardboard paper part of the toilet paper roll was good …
