don't they require lots of expensive lighting? Besides, I'm looking for something that can either eat fruit sometimes, or only needs feeding weekly. Another reason I like cresties. I might be able to do a DIY flip with some snap buttons to keep on t…
thanks Zoe.
Anyways, do you think a viper or 2 would work?
Hmmm, maybe a texas banded, or a leaf tail?
Leaf tails are hard to gather info on. Are they good to handle?
WHY ARE YOU BEING SO MEAN PANDALOVER? You freaked out on another post too. I don't want a leopard, because my brother has 1, so I figure I'd just like something different. Like a viper. BTW, Pandalover, I said it HAS lived in the 10 gallon 6-8 years…
Why? SOMETHING must be able to live in a 10 other than a leopard gecko. And you should be able to handle some geckos that can live in one... Other than leopard...
Can you just tell me what breed I SHOULD get? Remember: I want to handle it, it must live in a 10 gallon for ever. That's about it. I'd REALLY rather not get a leopard gecko and the tank must remain long, no moving vertically.
Yes you can.
I'd put in 2-3, but I read 5-6.
Edit- Quote "Housing In Captivity:
Lepidodactylus lugubris do well in small groups. I keep up to six in a ten-gallon vivarium and this affords the opportunity to witness social interactions amongst the g…
I get!
It may not always like being handled.
But it would be better for me to get a species known to like or tolerate (depending on who you are) handling.
I'm also looking into the mourning gecko.
Should be going to the store today. I can keep a few…
I do know!!!!!!
MY BROTHER HAS A LIZARD!!!!!!!!
I know they need lighting (read a billion times cresties don't!), I know they need calcium powder for bugs, NOT CRESTED GECKO DIET, I know the add-on will be fine for space, and I KNOW NOT ALL LIZARDS …
THANK YOU ZOE!
And to all you people telling me not to get it, LEAVE THIS POST.
If I get the add-on zoe suggested, which would not be needed until it's an adult, as babies don't need as much height so they don't fall and get hurt, my space will be…
I'll consider that when I save money Zoe. I have $0 right now, and owe my bro $10. I have only seen advice on tank size, and I've said I'm keeping the 10. I am asking for actual acre advice. FOOD/FEEDING, SUBSTRATE, HUMIDITY ETC....
I will, and I've done about 3 months worth....
I just like to get real people's advice as well as internet before buying.
I did it again for a few days, (now) because a few months ago, I thought my crabs were dead, and started research, but they wer…
I know they are a big responsibility.
I just checked out collared lizards, and they need lots of space, your right!
They run at 16 miles per hour. Mine will be climbing, and from what I've read, which is A LOT, a 10 g is fine. So, please stop flamin…
Thank-you, and I understand that a 10 g is small. But, an 8 inch lizard doesn't need a 55 gallon, though that would be cool. I'm looking at using a current tank, not buying another. Cresties climb, so I'm going to get lots of climbing things to make…
According to all this, my crestie still seems decent. I've read they like tall habitats, and mines regular, but I can work wonders with deco! Just give me bark, vines etc... from the store, and he/she won't know the difference. You can keep 1 in a 1…
I know 10 gallons is small, but I put about $50 into just the tank and cover, so that's what it's going to be. As I mentioned, it was originally for hermit crabs. Thanks for the advice, I've looked into anoles, but handling was very mixed. Some say …
I like to see the response before ignoring them. It's often funny. I say, it's against the rules, b/c it's spam, something about CAN'T YOU READ???? etc....

I wouldn't do this... It's animal cruelty!
Lmao! Reviving a fish is animal cruelty.
LOL, not reviving it! Freezing it, aka, killing it.
