That I don't know for sure, but I'd have to guess it has to do with their birth stats, at least thats what I've always assumed. Maybe somebody else knows this?

All dogs are in different in how much their A/C increases. I have some dogs that are practically 500 A/C over night, and others that have been in boarding for a year or so and still haven't broken 200.
