Did the person provoke the dog to bite? Also, some "vicious/dangerous dog" laws only put limits to your dog, such as can't go to certain places, must only keep him/her in a one dog home, etc.

Depends if the person files a complaint against you. When I was little we had a pit/lab mix that attacked another dog and person and they had filed a complaint and we had to take her to the puond.
