You can ask yes, but it doesn't do any good usually. If they buy it with the intent of releasing/retiring, that's what'll happen 9 times out of 10. I've noticed that people barely read kennel pages anyway @_@ Even when its right in front of them.

The adoption banner is a good idea, but you can't say "you can't release/retire them" because once they've adopted the dog, its their's to do whatever they want with.
