I tried. I had over 60 imports of Chihuahuas, got 9x4s but the strength wouldn't roll over. The male and female were both only one point away from 10x4, so I bred them like 6 times and the strength actually went down. >.< So I just gave up.

I'm pretty sure it does. Not an expert, but I enter my dogs in about 50 shows a day and get about 25 fame. So maybe it depends on how well you do? Good question :P
