Id do Disc 100 Sport 100 Work 80 personally. Basically the sport is 20% of the dogs total and if it is at 80 then youve lost some room where you couldve been improving his score. However thats a personal opinion on how i would do it

I agree with workin events but id angle him more towards hunting, search and rescue or that kinda stuff due to it being a hound. Edit: Also this post is helpful in determining how to train for specific events.

A halter trainer told me to use oil on horses whom you want to pick weight up on. But yea. Definitally try lunging over hilly areas to bring muscle back. Build his lessons up though.
