Exactly it's the number of pups...but no matter how many pups per litter 20 breedings will produce a lot of pups especially if you use a sponsor! I also breed multiple times and release pups that aren't "up to snuff" I didn't mean to make it sound…

Well it wouldn't do any harm to the dog or anything, but over-breeding a dog may flood VP with pups from one bloodline. For those that breed APBTs, there's an increased likelihood that one could breed cousins, grandparents, or uncles by accident. …

In my experience APBTs generally give birth 8 or 9 weeks after breeding. So 16-18 if you don't do anything but breed using a sponsor... Though I would definitely not advise producing so many litters from one dog!
