For advice, I'd say play with textures/fonts. Somehow it just makes most banners look better if there is a transparent layer with some sort of texture over the background image.

I love snakes. They're just completely amazing animals. I've had a California King, soon to be getting one of her babies, and hubby and I currently have a Ball Python.

I actually like spiders, to some degree. I've kinda always liked tarantulas, and I've had a bit of a fascination with Argiope aurantia for quite a while. I'll admit, I don't like having spiders in the house, but outside, they're pretty cool.

Very interesting spider... I'd say some sort of huntsman spider if you live in the southern US, but not too sure. I'm more of a snake person myself :P
