I thought it was a terrible movie. Yeah, the commercials were funny, but those were all the funny parts in the movie. That's it. Four or five good laughs and you're done.

It is quite possible that there is more than one father to the litter. It's possible that the female got out one day and a different male got to her. That would explain why Buddy looks so different and is so much bigger.
