  • Thank you both so much! This really helps. One thing I have to decide is whether or not I want to wait. I know that could be like 8 years of waiting, and I might not even be interested in it anymore after that. But at the same time I don't want to s…
  • LOL, that's ironic! Good luck. I also got a fortune cookie a few days ago. I was all excited to read it and it said "Made in the USA." No joke.
  • I just retired about 5 of the red w/ bloody fangs and black wings. I think this is a great idea and will participate and advirtise it on my kennel too!
  • It's sad, I find myself only coming on once or twice a week to check the new forum posts and messages. And there aren't a lot, either.
  • I missed you, hope everything gets better soon!
  • Merry Christmas! I'm so excited. Today has been non-stop shopping and wrapping presents, and this is my relaxation time before we head to chuch for the Christmas Eve service. We got our dogs new dog beds and bones to chew on.
  • I've never had a bad experience with a lab. Many of my friends have labs, we know a lab breeder, we own two labs and they are great. They could be very powerful, dangerous dogs if they chose to be.
  • Take my family and two best friends on vacation to any tropical place. Swim with dolphins, have an expensive dinner, etc. Then I would buy myself a new puppy and a laptop.

  • I agree, keep on training and excerising him. And definatley take him to the vet. For the treadmill, start slow. Bring him in the room with the treadmill and distract him by giving him commands and rewarding him. Then start putting treats close to…

  • I'm sorry. It's not your fault. Good luck.
  • I hope he recovers. And I hope the lab can be retrained and adopted out to a qualified, experienced family. I have two black labs and I hate to see them bashed. They really are wonderful dogs if they are trained correctly. Honestly, I've never h…
  • Maybe talk to the counsler? He may be able to help you learn some good strategies to help you not get so nervous. I know it's hard but you will probably have to do a lot of presenting though school, college, and maybe your career too. As long as you…
  • Apples and peanut butter. Amazing. Apples and caramel. Even more amazing.
  • I've been having some trouble deciding! I have my core classes, then two electives I believe. I love music so I'm definatly taking chorus, but I was torn between two other classes. I was going to get into art, and just take the basic class so I coul…
  • My dogs only play with their toys, but my Aunt's Golden thinks she's still a puppy. When she gets excited she'll grab someone's shoe or sock. My aunt's like "Oh she's just playing!" Well it's not so funny when it's your favorite shoe getting slobber…
  • Really? I like them. And I actually think most vegetables are okay. But only raw, I like munching on raw veggies but hate eating cooked ones. I don't know why, mostly because of the the texture.

  • Yeah, it doesn't mean it's a bad horse because it bit when annoyed. It's not like it just bit her for no reason. Even the kindest horse may bite occasionally. I would be more upset that she is selling for that little thing, but I guess she doesn't d…
  • Really? I've never heard of that allergy. I love watermellon, grapes, and almost all other fruit.
  • I'm sorry.
  • They're one of my least favorite fruits, but they're not too bad.
  • Whoa, that does not look like an Aussie at all! I agree with everyone else, probably a Terrier mix, maybe has some Jack Russel?
  • Hmm, I don't know. Is there a big enough room in your house you could play fetch with him? Also, just doing training I've found helps. I review tricks with my dogs and teach them new ones, and play with them and reward them while doing it. That alon…
  • I think crates are a good idea for now, they help the dogs feel safe and cozy. My lab was kept in a crate when we were not home for about 5 years, then she finally stopped needing one and now just cuddles up on the couch when we're gone. I'd also sa…

  • Is he kept outside or in the mudroom all the time? Maybe he's lonely or bored....
  • Aw, I'm gonna miss seeing you around. I know we never really got to know each other but I've always admired you for your gifties, the guides you've made, all that stuff. You were a great player that really helped a lot of people and I'm going to mis…
