I think you had the right idea for where to shade, but it just doesn't look natural enough... But I don't know.

I like it, especially the hat and ruffle thing. The face overall is very nice :] The shading is a little iffy, I think. I don't know, I've never shaded or anything, but I just feel like it could be blended a little more? Or something, I'm not sure…
